(11... he's quite young to be an assassin, when I think about it..)
-
"If you don't play along, I can run screaming to the police. Or some bounty hunters," He whispered to her. He raised his voice so the crowd could hear. "Where's Mom?"
-
(Too late now...)
-
(What ever you say! :D)
Misfortune stiffened. She growled.
"Or I could kill you right here, then disappear." she said in a pleasant voice. It wasn't a solution she liked very much, since she rather liked being able to walk around and not see wanted posters with her face on them all over. Her stomach began to hurt. She had dropped the mangos to take her chain back. -
"Huh... Sis, I gotta go pee. I'll be back." Zack ran off before the girl could say anything.
-
Misfortune stood still, her fingers clenched where the boy had been. She turned, blushing.
I can't believe I'm letting him get away with that. she thought.
She walked toward a nearby diner, wondering if she was destined to lose every piece of food she got her hands on. She walked in and looked over a menu, hoping she had enough money for anything edible. She sat on a bench far from the window. -
Zack stopped. She probably wasn't following him, and it wasn't safe to go back, now that she wanted to kill him. Bounty hunters? Even though it was right, he didn't feel it was.

Misfortune slumped in the chair. She rubbed tiredly at her eyes.
She was sleepy. She was hungry. And she was found out. It wasn't her fault that kid had stuck his nose where it didn't belong.
She ended up just ordering a coffee. She took a long swig, disappointed to find it watered down. What was her next move? She needed to do something about that child..
She called in that another agent needed to take cae of her assignment for that night. She needed to sleep tonight. -
It took Zack a second to realize that he was standing in front of a video game store. He hurried in.
-
Misfortune walked slowly out of the diner, asleep on her feet. She looked around. There didn't seem to be anyone looking for her. Maybe the kid hadn't said anything.. yet.
The idea of being hunted like a dog by a bunch of bounty hunters made her blood freeze.
She had to kill him. -
He looked around for a little while, then noticed a flyer next to a certain video game. His favorite video game. He grabbed one and ran to the cashier.
"Where do I sign up?" he asked excitedly.
The cashier stared at him and popped the bubblegum in her mouth, looking bored. "You need an adult. Where's your mom?"
Zack sighed. "Oh, okay." He walked off.
He knew one person who could be an adult. He had to win. Cash prizes, which he knew she'd be interested in. Okay, so she wanted to kill him. Too bad for her.
He needed to find her. -
(Gotta go. Can we continue later?)
-
(How much later?)

(A few hours? Another day?)
