Thread Topic: Hello
-
Misfortune shoved the boy away.
"It's Lulu. And I'm doing it for me. Not you." she was a bit taken aback by the fact that he had ignored her smile, but she didn't mind. -
"Okay then. Come on!" He ran off in the direction of the store.
-
Misfortune walked quietly behind him. She could kill him after she got her share.
-
He stopped and turned around, still smiling. "I'm Zack, by the way," he said, not bothering to use a fake name.
-
Misfortune kept walking, refusing to acknowledge his name. She rolled her eyes. The boy wasn't smart enough to use a fake name. She could see it in his eyes. Innocence. The name he had given was real.
-
It was a few more blocks away. If Zack stood still, he'd still be bouncing with excitement. Three or four blocks, a few signatures, and I'm in! Winning will be easy... He continued down the street, extremely happy. At least Lulu hadn't killed him.
-
Misfortune had a haard time believing there was anyone so stupid as him. he was naive. He trusted her so easily. He had turned his back, so if she chose to kill him, he would never know, until it was too late.
-
One more block... Zack stopped in front of the store. "Here it is!" He grinned.
-
Misfortune walked ahead, holding the door open. She gestured grandly toward the inside, waiting for him to go in. She wanted to be able to watch him at all times.
-
"Thanks again!" Zack hurried inside. He went up to the cashier. Thankfully, it was someone different. A guy this time. Zack would probably look a lot like him when he got older. "My sister said she'd enter me in the contest!" Zack pushed Lulu up to the counter, where the cashier smiled a bit. He probably thinks Lulu is cute, Zack thought. Ew.
-
Misfortune put on her best sisterly act. All of her siblings were long dead, murdered by the organization she now worked so faithfully for. She had forgotten how to be a sister..
"Yes.. so what am I supposed to do?" she asked quietly. -
Zack noticed the guy's nametag. Ty. Ty put a permission slip and a pen on the counter in front of him. "Just fill out this form."
YOUTH REGISTRATION FORM
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Parent/Guardian Signature: -
Misfortune stared at the slip of paper. She jabbed the kid's side.
"Hey, you fill this top stuff out. I forgot your name." she whispered so the man named Ty could not hear. -
"Okay." Zack took the form. Zack... what was his last name again? He'd forgotten. He scribbled down the name Baker. Age? Eleven. Gender: Boy. Do I look like a girl!?!?
He gave the pen to Lulu. "Sign it, please." -
Misfortune took the pen and scribbled her false name onto the paper, stealing his last name. Lulu Baker. What a stupid sounding name.
