Zack woke up in the morning and looked around. There was a homeless dude asleep on the bench. He stood up and walked away quietly. -
(Yay!)
Misfortune glanced around, eyes blurry from sleep.
Hungry.
She jumped down off the roof and went in search of food. -
Zack yawned and started walking to that bakery to buy another bagel.

Misfortune wandered toward a fruit stand, but stopped before she reached it.
"No money." she grumbled to herself, and went to go sit on a bench nearby. She needed to think this one over. -
Zack bought a bagel and walked out of the bakery. He was surprised when he saw Lulu sitting on a bench. He considered hurrying away, but instead walked over.
"Don't have enough money?" -
Misfortune looked over. Her eyes narrowed, and she glared at the boy.
"What's it to you?" she jeered. She turned away quickly, staring longingly at the fruit stand. -
"Just wondering. Gosh." Zack looked down.

Misfortune moved away from him, sitting on the very edge opposite of him. She took note of the fact that he hadn't said "God." That usually meant weakness.

He looked at the bagel and held it out in her direction. "Want some?" He hadn't eaten any yet.

Misfortune glanced back through the corner of her eye. The boy held out a bagel to her. She could feel a cutting remark ready to burst out, but she pushed it back. She gently took it from him.
"Thanks." she muttered, biting it. -
He smiled a little. Lulu was kind of scary, but in a good way.

Misfortune chewed away at the bagel, happy to have real food. A small smile appeared on her face as she ate.
"This is good." she murmured. -
"The bakery looked pretty good..." Zack looked at Lulu.

I have to go. Sorry for my terrible soaping tonight. Promise I'll be able to concentrate better next time. Bye!
