Kawa smiled, and looked down at the pond. "Oh great, look who's here." Dangling thir feet in the water was a group of kids from school.

Mai sighed and looked down. "They're always everywhere I go. It's like they make a point of tormenting me..."

"Just ignore them, doesn't look like they've noticed us."

Mai nodded. She suddenly was at a loss for words.

"It's really pretty out." Kawa said, desperate for conversation.

Mai smiled. "Yeah, the sunset's really beautiful tonight."

"Almost makes you wish Summer break was here already."

"Agreed," Mai replied. She stared off into the sunset.
