(idk how abt moonstone pack if that's ok? I just googled and that was the first thing I saw)
-
Moonstone sounds great to me))
Metus heard the howling from all across the valley. Their allies were approaching fast. All the moonstone pack had to do was fend off the current attackers and their allies would stop the reinforcements. Metus dodged and glided through sharp claws and yellowed teeth as he fought his way through his enemies when a thought occurred to him that twisted in his stomach. Where did Cheyenne get the information that they would be attacked. Metus got a terrible idea. -
The Ruby wolf pack launches a surprise attack on a small contingent of Moonstone's allies passing through the plains, who intended to support their alpha but are caught off guard. A brutal clash erupts, with blood soaking the towering crops as the two factions battle fiercely. Fangs snap and claws strike with ferocity. From a distance, Cheyenne watches the chaos unfold, not intending to join the fray. She doesn't fight unless she absolutely has to, and she's still waiting to save her energy for Astrid and Metus. The alpha snaps her head in the direction of the mountains, wondering how Dirty Shirt's advance up the mountain is going.
(your choice if you'd like a member of dirty shirt's pack to successfully close in or if you want to drive them away, i plan to bring cheyenne and ruby to astrid and metus soon) -
(i think it would be nice surpise for the characters to drive them off then Cheyenne and Ruby attack, if its ok with egally lol. also dont mind the newbie profile, i got locked out of my other one lmfao )
Astrid fought with her pack on the treacherous mountainside. she swiped at a large males neck, only to be dodged. she then lunged on him and dealt a large blow to his face. she got off and her ears picked up the sound of her pack getting hurt. in this moment of letting her guard down, the male leaped on her and they rolled around on the ground. astrid swiped at his jaw, and he tried to claw against her face, which she wiggled and he only tore her ear a little bit.
when she was finished with the dirt shirt male, she continued to fight the offenders out
(i should get help when my email gets answered lol.) -
Sounds good to me))
Metus let out a howl of frustration then they started to fight craftier. They put less strength into each attack, dodged a bit slower. They were saving their energy. They were suspecting a surprise attack from a certain crafty traitor. He found his way to the base of the mountain and latched onto the back of a particularly strong wolf. He sank his sharp teeth and gruesome claws into their skin. -
Damn. What's taking them so long? Cheyenne thought to herself. The alpha's frustration with the Dirty Shirt pack is mounting. She had once believed in their ability to execute the takeover, but they're failing to pull their weight. In contrast, she has observed the Ruby pack in action and recognizes each of their seasoned fighting skills. As she weighs her options, she paces restlessly, contemplating her next move.
With enemies from Moonstone no longer visible in the immediate area, Cheyenne resolves to advance her troops deeper into the mountains. Remaining stationary for too long would compromise their defenses. Though irritation simmers within her like slowly boiling water, she hasn't reached the point of anxiety yet. Much like a chess match, the landscape of war shifts swiftly, and it's her responsibility to foresee every move.
Although moving across Moonstone's river on the rightmost part of their territory could potentially expose their location, Cheyenne also considers the fact that it could buy Blood Moon some time while Ruby creates a distraction for them. The Blood Moon pack and Ruby pack agree to part ways. Ruby plans to reveal a portion of their forces by advancing into the plains just north of the river, aiming to launch an attack at the central base. Meanwhile, the Blood Moon pack remains hidden for a time before ascending the southern slope of the mountain, hoping to attack from behind.
"Well well well! We've got our grand prize right here!" a well-built female member of the Ruby pack snarls. The she-wolf boasts a powerful physique, her razor-sharp fangs glinting ominously. A sinister giggle escapes her lips, revealing her eagerness for further bloodshed. With a swift motion, she lunges at Metus, her claws reaching out in an attempt to rake across his face.
Meanwhile, Cheyenne and her forces position themselves stealthily among the rugged mountain rocks and varying walls to hide themselves for now. The most formidable warriors stand in front, while she stays at the rear, observing intently. A hush falls over her troops, their only cue coming from their leader's command. They all wait for her word to attack. -
(sorry if its bad)
As Astrid fought the dirty shirt pack off, anger fueled her, and the pain in her bleeding shoulder and torn ear fueled her even more, she continued to fight until the dirty shirt pack retreated. fur and blood littered the battlefield, and she basked in pride. but felt something was wrong. -
Metus attempted to jump out of the way, but their claws had dug too far into the back of the other wolf. A loud yelp escaped their lips as sharp, dagger like claws carved through Metus' left cheek. They tore their claws from the other wolf's back, then jumped into action, lunging at the female from the ruby pack and growling. Metus' movements were quick and concise as he focused. He knew there was far more of this attack then he'd thought going into the defense.

Cheyenne and her forces observe the battle between the Moonstone pack and the Ruby pack. Both factions seem evenly matched, suffering comparable losses throughout the confrontation. A smirk crosses Cheyenne's face as she receives news of Astrid and Metus' injuries. However, the alpha is disinterested in engaging with the Moonstone lackeys. She intends to allow her forces to handle the lesser foes while she aims to confront the main target while they're both momentarily incapacitated.
The alpha wolf emits a piercing howl that slices through the heavy atmosphere, guaranteed to send shivers down one's spine. In an instant, the Blood Moon pack responds to their leader's call and rushes in, prepared to support the Ruby pack. Teeth are bared, claws are unleashed, and the sounds of grunts and growls resonate throughout the surroundings. The Blood Moon and Ruby packs are now collaborating to confront Moonstone, tag-teaming them.
Blood stains the snow beneath, splattering in all different directions. Last but most certainly not least, Cheyenne slowly emerges from the shadows, her golden eyes illuminating the darkness. In her wolf form, she is equally, if not more, fearsome than in her human guise. She boasts quite a powerful build with large claws and sharp fangs that she licks menacingly. Her fur, a blend of various shades, sparkles under the moonlight, lightly dusted with snowflakes that give it a glittering appearance.
Cheyenne has no intention to waste time on conversation and instead launches an immediate assault on Astrid, hoping to take advantage of her momentary distraction with the Ruby pack wolves. With a razor-sharp jaw directed at Astrid's neck, she attempts to secure a firm grip. -
Astrid yelped in surprise, dodging the attack and wiggling out from underneath Cheyenne. she should have known! Astrid attempted to deal a large and powerful blow with her paw. blood continued to drip from her shoulder, staining the ground a deep red.
-
Metus heard a yelp in the distance that was startlingly familiar. They jumped back then threw something. All of a sudden there was a small explosion of yellow dust. This was a last resort. A call for a little extra help from allies and a chance to go find Astrid. Metus ran frantically uphill, searching through the trees for Astrid, dodging past claws of wolves far slower than he. Blood blurred vision in their left eye as they ran, erratically trying to find their mate, but Metus was reaching their limits. Metus' legs burned and their lungs boiled as their breathing became heavy. Fears settled in as they searched.
-
Cheyenne isn't at all taken aback by Astrid's ability to evade her strike. As the alpha female, the leader of Moonstone is expected to be a formidable rival. A thrill courses through Cheyenne, filling her with energy. A simple victory lacks appeal, and she eagerly anticipates assessing Astrid's combat skills.
The Blood Moon alpha had anticipated that Astrid's proud nature would prompt her to retaliate against the assault immediately. She swiftly jerked her head aside, narrowly avoiding a more severe injury. Instead, Astrid's paw grazed Cheyenne's cheek, leaving a scratch. Rather than gush blood, the wound gradually reddened and oozed slowly.
Cheyenne, fueled by adrenaline, remains undeterred by her injury. Spotting Astrid's bleeding shoulder, she seizes the moment and aims a kick at her opponent's wound, followed by another quick bite targeted at her face. -
Astrid's pain rippled through her body as the kick struck her shoulder. she jumped away from Cheyenne, then attempted to lunge at Cheyenne and pin her down.
-
Metus looked through the hills. The allies were just too far. Metus had to keep searching. They already felt things getting worse. They tried to run, but their legs were frozen in place. Metus' legs were shaking like twigs as he started to panic. Their stomach felt queasy as they looked around. They tried once again to move their shaking legs but they were stuck in place
-
Cheyenne revels in the thrill of having wounded Astrid, her teasing cackle echoing like a playful melody amidst the chaos of battle. To her, this moment feels more like a game than a fight. Whether she had a flicker of mercy for her injured rival, or just mocking pity, she allows Astrid to make a move. However, instead of being completely pinned down, the two wolves engage in a rolling tumble through the snow, the rough terrain scratching at Cheyenne's skin like coarse sandpaper, prompting a sharp hiss of discomfort. She momentarily breaks away from Astrid, gasping for breath as she regains her composure.
"I don't even know why... I let Metus come to our meeting..." The alpha wolf panted, grinning. "Useless then, useless now." Time appears to stand still as Cheyenne sizes Astrid up once again, while the surrounding battles rage on relentlessly. The sounds of wolves clashing fiercely echo in the backdrop of their exchange. Snowflakes blend with blood on her vibrant fur, resembling a cascade of red glitter. "...It's just you and me now, yeah? Don't disappoint me."

(if you'd like to bring allies in via some kind of emergency signal i'm also okay with that)
