I just met the strangest girl at work today like I want to live in her headspace wtf

On my break I was choosing new merchandise because we’re supposed to buy new merch to promote it in stores and that is why we have a discount

When you looked at her she was literally the definition of head in the clouds im not about to type the whole story onto here because it’s f---ing weird but she came up to me and asked if I knew if there were any smalls or insert shirts she had in hand in the back

When I tell you this girl had literally 1 of every shirt in her hand I don’t care that’s fine that’s not the problem or maybe she was high but I doubt it just the way she acted and the way she talked and her eyes looking soulless scared the s--- out of me it felt like I was talking to a ghost

I can’t explain it but you know that creepy blonde girl from the Harry Potter movie where they’re on the horse buggy and Potter sees the skeleton horses and no one else does except for the blonde girl that’s like “ I see them too”
The vibe she gave on screen is the same as this girl
Oh but I’m not done -
This girl from Harry Potter except she wasn’t blonde or a teenager she said she was 20 and she had pink hair -
But the same vibes anyway point is I’m like okay I’m done anyway might as well help her because she looks lost
I went to go check the shirts hung at the top and meanwhile she was telling me about how she had just moved here from Texas and I was like oh wow I bet it’s a different type of world here temperature wise huh and she was like yes I like it here it’s always cloudy I don’t really go outside though because I spend my entire day working at home
Then she talked about how she lives alone, her age, how she thought she had made a friend but in reality it’s just guys trying to get handshake with her, how she doesn’t like hook ups or interactions with anyone, how she likes to collect dolls because they make her feel safe
Meanwhile I’m like with 10 shirts I still have to find and it’s been like 40 minutes by now honey you’re really lucky I am the coworker you talked to because if

She said I make $5,000 A MONTH

AT 20 WHAT $60000 a year
OKAY BUT she was like talking about how she had met a guy at the thrift store the one that tried to get hsndsy then she said
She knew she wasn’t as attractive as other girls which is why she knows that all the guys that have ever been interested in her are only after her money because she OWNS A HOUSE, owns a store she gave me the address, AND has a trust fund and life insurance in case she dies now Mind you I’m thinking this girl literally doesn’t have to lie to me I’m just trying to find her shirts I don’t care if she’s broke or not no need to exaggerate her life story -
No this tiny little air head pulls up her phone and shows me her photo gallery where she was hugging a person she said was her realtor with keys in her hands in front of a 2 story house, another one but in front of a business space with an older man, and then she shows me her store pictures while I’m trying to get her things so she wasn’t lying like she was actually saying the truth about that
Now at this point I only have 5 shirts left and she was like oh wait that’s not all I also want 1 of every flannel
Idk if you guys have ever been to zumiez but that shut without an employee discount is not cheap I mean the quality is trash but the price is f---ing bonkers
So then -
I’m like of every shirt?? And she’s like yes, I want one of every shirt in this store. I was like okay

At this point the only thing this girl was lying about was not being attractive because she was attractive but like in a weird way I have no idea what her face looked like because she was wearing a face mask but everything else and the way she presented herself was appealing. She had like a 60s appearance I don’t really know much about fashion eras or any of that but it was basically hippie with the long skirt and s---
Anyway she just kept talking but whenever you looked at her eyes I swear to god there was nothing there they looked empty -
Back to what I was saying about being lucky I don’t give a s--- about anything and having me be the employee
You can’t really go around telling retail employees or strangers your life story ESPECIALLY if you say “I live alone, I have insurance, I make 5 grand a month, I am home all day, I just moved here”
Anybody else can have their little wheels in their head turning and can see you as an easy target. ESPECIALLY because you’re short and look like you weigh 90 pounds. Anyone could harm her because this girl has money
Or maybe I’m a horrible pessimistic person but like no I’ve seen enough midnight discovery shows with cat girls to know that’s the perfect target to end up in an unsolved case -
Think about it no family members, no spouse, no friends. I really hope she shuts the f--- Up and doesn’t tell anybody else that because Washington isn’t the posh little place media makes it out to be. It has hot spots just like any other place in the US
