Thread Topic: The mods have a responsibility to do their jobs.

This isn't dealt with. Mr weed simply backed out.

Revoke the powers of both Brownies and Dark.

No, it's fine, I was just curious. You can do whatever you want- I can't really stop you, y'know? Lol.
Okay, then I'll put that consideration to the back of the list.
The problem with that is that we do fight back. We tell them to quit, we tell them to stop being little pricks, but they continue. They also start little threads and group chats to continue to plan that trolling offsite. Which, leads to why we do threaten to delete them. Especially if their trolling is harassment. Considering we have the power to delete it, and they're breaking a rule, that's what makes sense to me. Maybe it doesn't to you, but then that makes me wonder what exactly we ARE supposed to do at that point.
Yes, I understand that. We aren't here as moderators to delete people using the f word, or to delete anyone we don't like. But we haven't been doing that. There's evidence of that. We're having problems with people that are trolling on the fence, though, and no one wants to let us really do anything about it. -
So, correct me if I'm wrong, but if we do see harassment we should be allowed to delete it, correct? I'm not saying things like "oh you're a s--- mod" or whatever. I'm saying spamming the thread, saying bulls--- repeatedly without stop just to get a reaction from you, things like that.
-
Hell yes. You should be commanded to delete it, not just allowed. Spammers would take over the world and my thread would be about 50 pages longer than it is now if it weren't for you guys.
-
depends on what you count as harassment, which varies immensely on who is being harassed and whether a mod likes them.
-
Typically the harassment we deal with is from the very people posting in this thread to "get rid of us". And again, I'm not saying I want to delete their usual dick posts. But their harassment makes our jobs harder and adds to stress.

Okay. Thank you for taking your time to discuss this with me, TokeR.
