That's what you're doing, though. The mods are like the police and you're ragging on them for taking care of spam. Why? Because you want to be able to be a jerk without any sort of penalties?
I sincerely hope GTQ guy bans you. :) Have a nice day, ma'am. -
Taking care of spam? They can go and delete that.
I still think about the consequences but I still go through with it because I want to say things that I want to say. I am not a filtered person. So yes, I'm a jerk, because I don't try to walk around my words.

This is what I hate. You refuse to listen to any criticism and say "just leave". Ever since most of the older (RL age not account age) mods left you have refused to listen to the complaints and just gone "this how it is now, pack your bags". I come on here because I want to check on quite a few of the users who still come on who I care about, anything outside of that enrages me. The decision making capabilities shown by the mods are on par with flipping a coin. You'll forbid one thing for a certain reason but not another thing when the same reason can be applied. These concerns have been raised repeatedly in "polite" ways but every time they simply get ignored. The mods even go by "vigilante justice" by using the offensive post button purely to punish users.
And don't pull the "mods just following the law" bulls---, the mods have interpreted the rules since they were implemented and came to a consensus on how they wanted to follow them.
This is rant level post but will further any points made if wanted. -
^ðŸ‘Geek can handle this more well than me. I agree with him.
-
I'm sorry that I haven't been listening to the points you're making. I was making a sarcastic mockery of what Drew/others say to the mods or other users when they're complaining.
I understand what you're saying, although if you have any examples about them forbidding things for one reason and allowing similar things?
They've actively discussed the rules with GTQ guy and he has supported them in full. If they were interpreting them wrong, he would have done something, I'm sure. -
I've got to go for a bit, though, I'm eating and then I'll drop back in.

They forbid "mature content" because it's a reasonable measure if a child gets on somehow, recognizing children are a problem. They then refuse to ban children.
Look in pretty much any thread where the mods declare any new rule since around the beginning. The opposition is always there. -
And refusing to delete old mature content, even though that is just as bad for legal reasons as new mature content.
-
Did they ever even go beyond a f---ing tumblr post and dark saying "my dad is a lawyer" or some s--- for that?
-
did they add you as a mod or something or are you just here to defend your girlfriend as she's too stressed from people saying mean things?
-
I do agree about the children being removed, although most of the users are children. The site would be a ghost town. And I think most of us joined before we were 15/13, whatever the required age is.
And, anyways, even if they deleted everyone under whatever the age is, until you're 18 you're considered a minor. And this was never meant to be an 18+ site.
The old content isn't being deleted because prior to the mods being created, the rules weren't enforced. I'll agree, it might be better that something is done about it, but it would just penalize a lot of accounts that haven't done anything wrong since the rules were enforced. If there were a way to destroy all that content without hurting the users accounts, I'm all for it. But I'm not sure that's possible, and even if it were, the mods don't have the power to do it.
I'm fairly certain they linked articles regarding the whole matter, although I'm not sure about that one- However, it is fairly illegal. A friend of mine got into some trouble for smutting with someone only a few months older than her, because the other person's parents weren't okay with it, even though hers were.
It's honestly just a rule to protect the site and the users. I've seen plenty of people move the conversations to email when they start to get a little steamy.
Plus, I don't believe we've ever been okay with cybersex? It was a few years ago that the lounge was flooded with the stuff and I distinctly remember a lot of users being upset. -

I'm not a mod, homie. But I'm saying this for all of them, not just her. I've already told her my opinion on all of this and she knows what I think she should do.
