Jayden finished a little after Chester did. "Can we go in your room?"

‘Of course,’ Chester said with a smile, standing up.

Jayden smiled weakly, standing up.

Chester grabbed his hand and walked to the door.

Jayd followed him. "Chester?" He asked once the door shut.

‘Yeah, sweetheart?’

"What are you trying to hide from me?"

Chester’s demeanour changed, but he tried not to let it show. ‘I-I’m not hiding anything.’ Now you’re a cheater and a gaslighter. Jayden doesn’t deserve this.

Jayden frowned. "Then what was going on with Maeve at dinner?" He asked, not believing him.

‘Nothing,’ Chester lied again. He felt horrible. ‘She’s probably just moody.’

Jayden was still skeptic, but he dropped it. "Whatever."

Chester opened the door to his bedroom for him.

Jayden walked in, sitting on his bed.

Chester smiled and laid down next to him, grabbing his hand. ‘Bed?’

Jayden nodded, crashing onto his pillow. "Yeah." He mumbled.
