After a while they reached a forest but by this time they had all stopped out of breath and thirsty. Jason took out a bottle of water and opened it but William swiped it out of his hands and passed it to Holli. She smiled gratefully at him.
"Oi!" Jason moaned.
"She needs it more then us J, she almost died do you know what that does too your body system?" William retorted.
"Nah, I never paid attention in science class" Jason replied truthfully.
William laughed then looked behind him and frowned. "Guys I think they've noticed Holli's missing" he whispered. The other two's eyes met his gaze, not too far away stood a nurse talking too a police officer. Dam. They set off again running through the forest. Holli swore as she tripped over a tree root. As she tried too get up, she fell down again. "For God's sake" she moaned. -
William glanced behind them.
'There's nobody following us,' he stated, then sat down next to her. Holli pulled herself into a sitting position, leaning against a tree. Jason sat down too. Holli took a drink out of the water bottle.
'We're definitely outlaws,' Holli said. After a moment, they all burst into laughter. -
Holli leant her shoulder against William's starting too feel tired.
Jason glanced at her then back behind them. "Come on, this place is too out in the open too sleep" he stated standing up.
William got up himself and then wrapped Holli's arm around his shoulder.
"J! Over here" William exclaimed pointing at a cosy-looking ditch beside a tree.
Jason assessed it carefully. "Great"
Then looked at Holli. "This time, I'm taking first-watch" -
William helped Holli sit against the dirt, and the moment she closed her eyes, she was asleep. William sat opposite her, taking off his jacket and laying it over her like a blanket. He stared at her chest rise and fall, leaning against the dirt.
Jason glanced at him and smirked. 'You like her,' he said smugly.
'I do not!' William snapped, a little too quickly. -
Jason laughed. "Okay" he said but he obviously didn't believe his brother.
William wasn't tired but he didn't want too stare at Holli either, it was a bit creepy and Jason was there watching what he was doing.
To distract himself he turned too his older brother. "J, I'm starving I'm gonna go get some food"
Jason raised his eyebrows. "Nah, you stay here and I'll get some food. Just don't fall asleep okay" he warned.
"I won't" William called quietly and sat himself back down in the ditch. -
He watched Jason climb out of the giant hole, then glanced at Holli. She was still asleep.
William smiled softly.
(Not sure what else to write) -
(That's fine)
Not too long after Jason had left Hollis eyes opened. She yawned and used the tree bark too sit up. She turned round and saw William. Just William. No Jason!
"William?" She said and he whipped round grinning.
"Where's Jason?"
William sighed. "He's gone too get some food don't worry, he'll be fine"
Holli smiled. "So what are we gonna do? Or do you want some sleep, I'm happy too keep watch for an hour?"
"No" said William softly. "I'm fine thanks" -
They stared at each other for a moment, then looked away. Neither of them spoke until someone fell into the ditch.
'Oww!' cried the voice. Dust exploded in the hole, flying up Holli's nose and hurting her eyes. There was a lot of coughing and waving away the dirt before they recognised the voice.
'Charlie, you creep!' William shouted. Charlie had just stood up before his little brother kicked him over. 'Have you been following us?!' he shouted, standing over Charlie.
'What do you think?' Charlie spat, then coughed. He took one look at Holli and spat at her feet.
'What do you want?' William yelled. 'Tell us before I step on your ugly face, which will result in teeth loss, which you'll need for the talking bit.'
Holli grimaced, the image of teeth all over the dirt ground wasn't too appealing. She shuffled backwards, letting the boys have some... let's say quality time.
Charlie spat again, this time at William. 'The girl, you donkey,' he said.
'No way,' William snapped. -
"Ooh! I don't like this new William, all tough and hero-like. No, I don't like him at all" Charlie cooed scowling.
William fired a glare at him.
"Well I don't like this new Charlie either, No brain-cells and a ba******" he retorted.
Holli glanced over and wished she could intervene. William was tough, yes but Charlie was tougher and she knew he wouldn't stop at anything too get her and William wouldn't stop at anything too protect her.
"Want too fight Will?" He asked pathetically.
"I..."
"Right. Rules are if I win I get the girl and if you win, I'll leave and stop following you. Pain can go too any extension other then death" Charlie explained eyes glowing with hatred.
"William, don't" Holli cried. "I'm not saying you aren't tough, but he'll crush you too pieces!"
William looked back at Holli. "I'm not letting him get you" he replied but so quietly Holli could barely hear.
William raised his fists when Holli shouted out again. "Please William! Violence isn't always the answer" -
William, being a teenage boy, didn't listen. Charlie smirked, stepping back and raising his fists. Holli would've gotten up, but her limbs ached too much.
'William, please,' she pleaded.
They started fighting. -
Holli sighed in frustration that all she could do was watch. She winced as William got kicked in his privates and groaned as he rolled too the floor. She wished Jason would get back, and soon.
Charlie laughed before shouting out in pain as William booted him in the head leaving blood trailing down past his ear.
"Ouch" Charlie muttered but it was clear he couldn't fight properly anymore. -
Sorry, rewrite last sentence.
"That ain't even that painful, that's an insult for what I could do too you!" Charlie muttered but it was clear he couldn't fight properly anymore. -
Holli shuffled backwards, letting the boys have their... Let's say quality time. She covered her eyes when more and more blood came. 'Stop!' she screamed.
William sighed. Charlie turned to look at her.
'You're both acting like the stupid children you are!' Holli shouted. 'Honestly..' -
Charlie growled and pounced for Holli but she had quick tactics and instantly rolled out the way though she knew she wouldn't be able too stand with support.
William scowled. "Oi! You leave her alone, fight's between you and me!"
"Well she interfered!" Charlie spat.
"Interfered with what?" a new voice spoke making Charlie's knees buckle. Jason came out from behind the tree carrying a loaf of bread, three apples and three bottles of water. He put them beside the tree and strode forwards.
"Charlie. What the hell are you doing here?" He snapped then glanced at William, bleeding, cut and bruised and at Holli who had scratches and dirt-marks covering her face.
"And what the hell have you done to them?" he screamed punching Charlie in the face. -
Charlie fell backwards, against the dirt wall. Holli watched as Jason went for another punch to Charlie's stomach. Charlie groaned and fell on his knees.
William muttered something under his breath.
'You creep,' Jason said to Charlie. He was obviously mad with his little brother, but he wondered how greed had taken hold of him.
With William's help, Holli stood and shuffled away from Charlie.
