Sebastion Longwood emerged from the trees. He was wearing smart clothes, a nice white blouse and black pants.
'What do you want?' Jason huffed, raising his fists. Holli did the same. You couldn't tell just by looking at her, but Holli had done Jiu Jitsu for over 5 years. She could easily fight an old man and a teenager.
William narrowed his eyes.
'Just the girl,' Sebastian said, smirking. 'Then you two can go back to your lives.'
William looked like he was going to get aggressive. 'She's staying with us!' he snapped. Not in a I-own-her way, in a I-will-protect-her way.
Sebastian smiled. It seemed he was immune to anger, and instead grew smug. 'Very well then.' -
"It's a shame I'm going have too do this. Are you sure boys? I couldn't risk my small grandsons getting hurt!" He explained with fake sympathy.
"We'll, we'll call the police!" William warned but Sebastian just laughed.
"Then what might I find myself telling the police? That two of my grandsons were in it with me!"
Jason and William glanced at each other. There would be no winning this now.
"Fine. I will give you one more chance too give me the girl. Charlie! Get her. NOW!" Sebastian ordered and Charlie scuttled away looking smug.
A minute later Rosalie Longwood was shoved forwards, mouth gagged, hands tied behind her back. When she saw Holli tears sprung too her eyes.
"Grandma!" Holli cried rushing forwards but Sebastian stopped her, shoving her too the ground.
"Careful Missy. Now here's the deal boys. You let me take Holli or Rosalie dies!" he warned pulling out a knife from inside his jacket.
"Choose quickly boys. You have until 9pm. 5 hours, that should be enough shouldn't it? If you don't come Rosalie will die. And so will Charlie" -
Holli had to stay with Sebastian as the two sat on the grass, pondering their situation.
'If we tell him we'd rather have Holli, he'll take her anyway,' Jason sighed, 'And if we say we'd rather spare Rosalie's life, he'll probably k!ll her anyway.'
William uttered a swear word angrily. 'You do realise we're being blackmailed?' he said angrily. 'He can't do this!'
'Adults can get away with anything,' Jason groaned, 'We can't get out of this.' -
"But what if we can? He blackmailed us into working with him. Back when we started we only stole sweets from shops. So, we did a few wrong things. We won't be in prison for long. Just a few months!" Jason suggested.
"J, I would love too but that ain't possible. We started at first cos you and Charlie were eager for money, I followed you everywhere. I was only 9 years old! By the time we realised what we were doing it was too late, and I know we were being black-mailed after that. Not a few months. More like a few years!" William moaned.
Jason sighed. "I don't know, I really don't know"
William looked at Holli, tied too a tree, facing Sebastian, mouth now gagged. As his Grandad turned too talk too Rosalie, Holli used her knee too rip of the tape covering her mouth.
"Guys, let him take me! He can't k!ll Grandma!" Holli screamed.
"So the little minx has decided her own fate. Hmm, very interesting. But what about Charlie? Hmm. Take Rosalie and let him die? How cruel!" Sebastian chuckled.
"No! Set both of them free!" Holli pleaded.
"Oh, well let's see what Ro has too say about it!"
"Holli! Please let him kill me! They already think I'm dead but you are only 12 years old darling. You have a life too live!"
"But, but Grandma! You've only lived for 60 years!" Holli complained.
"60 years. Five times more than you Holls. Please darling!"
"No! I don't care, she looked to William and Jason. "Tell him too let my Grandma and uhm Charlie free. He can have me! I'm begging you!!" Hollie cried. -
(Lol, it's very long)
-
Jason stared in horror. William bit his lower lip. They watched as Sebastian laughed and taped Holli's mouth shut again. Holli glared at him.
She thought. How could she get out of this?
She spotted Sebastian's knife on the ground, the one he'd used to threaten Rosalie. She stretches her leg out, resting her foot on the handle, and dragged in closer to her. When it was close enough, she grabbed it and started cutting the rope. She could easily fight Sebastian, knock him out and free the others.
William and Jason talked, grave looks on their faces.
Holli cut the last rope, ripped the tape off her face and stood. Sebastian's back was turned - a huge mistake.
She kicked him in the back of the head, knocking him to the side. He turned around a threw a lame punch. Holli side-stepped and threw another kick to the side of his head. He fell to the ground, eyes closed.
Holli stepped on his face just to make sure.
Jason and William ran over.
'That was amazing,' William gaped. -
(Gasped, not gaped*
HOW DID I MAKE A MISTAKE ON THE LAST WORD?) -
(All good lol )
"Thanks" Holli sighed hugging him and Jason.
Jason and William glared at Charlie whil Holli walked over too Rosalie. She carefully took the tape of her mouth and cut the ropes. The pair stared at each other- tears in their eyes and hugged. They didn't need to say anything.
Meanwhile, Jason and William were having an argument with Charlie.
"What the hell were you thinking? Going off and snitching to Sebastian!" Jason roared.
"I, I didn't want her too join us!" Charlie protested.
William laughed angrily. "You are our brother! You betrayed us too try and get rid of Holli. Well sorry bro but she with us now and you're disowned!"
"That was the deal!" Charlie sobbed. "I told him where you two were and he would get rid of Holli. Take her back home. I didn't know, I didn't realise..." He trailed off seeing that his two brothers were still glaring at him.
"Not on mate. She ain't done nothing too you!" Jason retorted. -
Charlie sighed. 'Can I make it up to you?' he pleaded.
'No,' William snapped. 'You're on your own now, bro.'
They untied him and left. Charlie had nearly gotten them all killed. They weren't just about to forgive him.
When Holli and Rosalie finally broke away from each other, the old woman said, 'I'm afraid I'll have to get going, back to the city. I can't stay with you lot.' She glanced to her cousin, on the ground.
'Why not?' Holli asked.
'I've got some unfinished business to take care of. Sorry kids,' she said with a wink, and with one last but, she left. Then she turned around. 'And don't go back to the city, ok? It's dangerous.' Then she left.
William stood next to Holli, sliding his hand into hers.
'What should we do with him? Jason asked.
They glanced to Sebastian.
'Throw him in the river? Leave his body in the forest for the wolves to eat?' William suggested.
'That's a bit dark,' Holli replied.
'I say we leave him here. The police will still be after you, Holli, so we gotta stay out here for a bit,' Jason said. -
Holli shivered at the thought of going back. Her heart missed her Mother. But only a little bit. However, her brain told her that her life was with William and Jason now. Not her Mother. Not her stepfather. And not her half-siblings.
She had a new family now. She didn't need anyone else. Apart from her Father. Her real Father. She missed him so much. He always told her heart before head. But right now that rule didn't apply too her. She felt a hand slip through hers.
"You alright Holli?" William asked smiling softly at her.
Holli gave a sad smile. "Honestly no. But there is a place I would like too go, I mean if that's okay?"
"Of course! Where were you thinking Holli?" Jason questioned.
"Not too stay. But too visit" Holli felt herself redden a little. "The cemetery, it's not too far from here"
"Why do you want too go there?" Jason asked confused. William glared at him.
"To see my Dad" Holli answered striding forwards William running after too her.
(Is this okay?) -
(not too lol)
William running after her. 🤣🤣🤣 -
(Yeah, it's good :D Just one question, is Holli religious? Because Christian people tend to bury their loved ones when they die, whereas non-religious people tend to spread the ashes of their loved ones.
Just need to know so we can keep the story flowing) -
(Well, I'm not religous but if you want her too be, I guess she can. You choose)
(Thanks!:)) -
(Well, I'm not religious either, so I'd rather her not be. I find it hard to write about serious things like that when I can't relate to it. Is that OK?)
-
(Yeah of course. I wouldn't know what too put, so I'm glad you're happy with that)
