i do a good amount of exercise and eat a relativaly healthy diet. though im not over weight im still heavier than mosy not helping that im 5'3 and 120 pounds
-
but i want to cut just a fww pounds. since my pe teacher told us to lose at least 2 pounds or if your under 2 pounds
-
If you exercise and eat right, there's no reason for you to try and lose weight. I'm a lot bigger and heavier than you, and I'm heavier than almost everyone, but I am healthy. If you are healthy, weight doesn't matter. I don't want people to have body image issues. If you want to lose 2 pounds that bad, then just cut out processed foods and workout more. Also, build some solid muscle. It will help anyone trying to lose weight because it speeds your metabolism.

Problem: I'm trying to run a mile, but I just can't make it anymore. I stopped running on December 30, and I just ran on Sunday. I'm very sore from trying to run. I didn't even make it halfway. I used to be able to run a mile very easily. And I'm experiencing abdominal pain. It hurts right where I had a stone in my appendix. Help?
-
Well, if you stop running for that long, your endurance, muscle size, oxygen capacity, and muscle strength pound for pound decreases. Your blood volume also decreases within 3 days of stopping exercise. All of these factors combined can make your ability to run decrease. As for the pain, it might just be a "stitch in your side", which happens when you are running more than your capacity, or it could be another stone bouncing around. If it scares you, go to a doctor. Hope this helps

I want to get rid of my thigh fat. I do martial arts 2 days a week but it's not helping. I also want to slim my stomach. What foods and excersises will help me?
-
Ok. This is an easy fix. High knees, sumo squats, and lunges all target your thighs and burn fat. A diet consisting of lots of green veggies, fruit, fiber, and lean meats will help you also. Running will help as well. Increase your exercise days to 3-4 days a week and you should be good. When you are ready, build some muscle in your legs with leg presses and weighted lunges. For your stomach, planks are great for toning your abs. The diet I listed will help with that too. Try 30-second planks and then build up to as much as you can. Good luck!
