No problem

Jenniejj Newbie@Teen_Muscle I have a child here at my practice saying her arm really hurts and her head hurts. The has no fever her oxygen level is 98/98 and her BP is 120/80. I can't see anything wrong with her. Do you think it is fake? Should I send her to the Orthopedic? Can her symptoms be connected somehow? If you could answer in the next hour that would be great I don't want her waiting in here forever.
Thanks,
Dr.McClucksy -
If you're a doctor shouldn't you know things like that?
-
Meanwhile, 4 hours later the child is still in the doctor's office as teen muscle fails to reply

My sinusitis is bad can you suggest anything? I've tried lots of steam but I think it's made it worse the last few times, now my head feels heavy and I don't like it
-
Acute sinusitis can be triggered by a cold or allergies and may resolve on its own. Chronic sinusitis lasts up to eight weeks and may be caused by an infection or growths.
Symptoms include headache, facial pain, runny nose and nasal congestion.
Acute sinusitis usually doesn't require any treatment beyond symptomatic relief with pain medications, nasal decongestants and nasal saline rinses. Chronic sinusitis may require antibiotics. -
It is either chronic or recurring.

Humidify. Start using a humidifier in rooms where you spent a lot of time. Just make sure to follow the instructions for regular cleaning. If you use a dirty filter, you might be spraying mold into the air.
Breathe in steam vapors. You can either run the shower and sit in the bathroom or breathe deeply. The steam vapors may help reduce congested and swollen nasal passages.
Apply warm heat. Put a warm, wet towel on your face. It might help relieve some of the pressure.
Use a nasal saline solution. While they don't contain medicine, they can help keep your nasal passages moist.
Flush out your sinuses. Nasal irrigation -- with salt water -- can clear out mucus (and other debris) and keep your sinuses moist. There are a number of ways to do it, ranging from bulb syringes and neti pots to pricey irrigation systems. Use distilled, sterile, or previously boiled water to make up the irrigation solution. Its also important to rinse the irrigation device after each use and leave open to air dry.
Drink lots of fluids. They'll help thin the mucus, reducing the blockage in your sinuses. However, cut down on your alcohol -- it can actually worsen the swelling.
Rest. When you've got a sinus infection, try not to overdo it. Get plenty of sleep and give your body a chance to recover.
Don't overuse OTC medicines. Decongestants and painkillers can help up to a point. Just remember that overusing some of these medicines can actually make your symptoms worse.
While home treatments may be enough for some people with sinusitis, they won't work in all cases. So if you've had sinus symptoms for more than a few days -- or they're particularly severe -- go see your doctor. Remember that the sooner you start the right treatment for your sinus problems, the sooner you'll feel better again. -
I've tried steam but now I feel more pressure in my head and I'm worried its making it worse?
-
(I mean I did it before you posted that)
-
I have no idea then.
Maybe consult a doctor? -
It's better today
