I need fitness help: I'm really skinny and somewhat weak, but I can't seem to gain muscle or fat. Can you help me
-
Well, you are most likely an Ectomorph, who is classified as being skinny and a hard gainer.
-
Oh... So what does that mean for me? Can I ever gain?
-
ECTOMORPH
An ectomorph is a typical skinny guy. Ectos have a light build with small joints and lean muscle. Usually ectomorphs have long thin limbs with stringy muscles. Shoulders tend to be thin with little width.
TYPICAL TRAITS OF AN ECTOMORPH:
Ectomorph body type
Small delicate frame and bone structure
Classic hardgainer
Flat chest
Small shoulders
Thin
Lean muscle mass
Finds it hard to gain weight
Fast metabolism
Ectomorphs find it very hard to gain weight. They have a fast metabolism which burns up calories very quickly. Ectos need a huge amount of calories in order to gain weight. Workouts should be short and intense focusing on big muscle groups. Supplements are definitely recommended. Ectomorphs should eat before bed to prevent muscle catabolism during the night. Generally, ectomorphs can lose fat very easily which makes cutting back to lean muscle easier for them. -
Does anyone else need help?

Health/fitness help:
How to get rid of evening-headache? My head hurts, in the evening, what should I do? -
@GirlyGothic well, that can be dealt with differently depending on your body fat percentage, lean body mass ect. Also how tall are you?
@Jeeshan it's probably caused by stress, aka tension headache. To fix it, try relaxing and making your day less stressful. Drinking more water can help. -
Usually when we run at school (aka: indivial pacers) I get to 50 or so. But one time, I ran and got tired like on the 30th pacer. I felt as if my legs were very stiff and I felt like I couldn't go faster. What could've caused it?
-------------------------------------------------
I ran pacers to defeat my goal of the year and I did defeat it by a large amount. But when I finished, my legs were numb, I felt very-light headed and I felt like throwing up. I asked to go get a drink of water but the nausea lasted a looooooong time. What caused that? -
@twilightfan it could have been caused by oxygen deprivation, but the most likely cause is "the wall" which is a result of not eating properly before exercise. It is easy to fix, all you have to do is eat lots of carbs & protein before and or during an endurance run. Hope this helps!
