Lavender followed, feeling out of place once she did. She stayed close to Maeve.

Maeve walked towards the cupboard.

Lavender followed. Patton watched the two of them as he cooked. "What are you doing?"

‘Getting a snack,’ Maeve said, looking through the cupboard.

"Who's your friend?" Patton asked to fill the silence.

‘Lavender,’ Maeve said with a grin. She pulled out a jar of cookies.

Lavender waved, smiling. "Hi."
"Hello. I'm Patton." -
Maeve hid the jar of cookies behind her back and side stepped to the door. 'Cya, Patton.'

Patton rolled his eyes, seeing the jar of cookies. "Save room for desert. Do you want me to make an extra plate for Lavender?"

Maeve just grinned. 'We will. And yes please.'

Lavender beamed. If she wanted her to stay for dinner, maybe she could stay the night.

Maeve grabbed Lavender's hand and walked out of the kitchen. 'Cya, Patton!'

Lavender blushed, following her out with a grin.

Maeve walked down the halls, holding the cookie jar in one hand and Lavender’s in the other.

Lavender played with the tips of Maeve's fingers as she held her hand.
