Giovanni waved slightly at Kori, smiling a bit awkwardly before looking towards the teacher, “Do I have no other choice, Ms. Wilson..?” He placed his hand on the back of his neck, looking at the teacher then at Kori.

"Not unless you want to make up for that late work in detention," Ms. Wilson replied as she crossed her arms over her chest, watching Giovanni. Kori Jane watched then quietly for a moment, already dreading this as she looked Giovanni up and down. -
Giovanni froze for a moment before shaking his head, “Thanks for the tutor, Ms. Wilson.” His expression changed when the work ‘detection’ was brought up. He looked at Kori with a bright smile, seeming to be excited to be tutored by her.

"You're welcome, Mr. Romano," Ms. Wilson said before turning, walking off. Kori Jane sighed and set her bags down, really hoping she'd be able to leave right after. "Guess I'll be missing rehearsals today," she muttered, pulling her work out again. "So, Giavonni, was it? What do you need help with?" She asked with a bored tone, looking over at the boy.

Giovanni blinked at Kori for a moment, “Rehearsal?” He tilted his head being more curious about where Kori needed to go to so quickly.

"I dance, ballet specifically," Kori replied as she looked back at her bag, pulling out a pencil. "What do you need help with first?"

“Oh! Then why are we here?” Giovanni got up quickly, “It’s not good to be behind practices. We can carry on tomorrow. Ah—don’t mention it to Ms. Wilson.” He smiled at Kori.

"Oh- well, I was about to leave, since I had just finish my other tutoring sessions," Kori Jane replied, looking over at Giovanni with a confused look. "I suppose if you're fine with it, we can start tomorrow, once I adjust my schedule-"

“Just enjoy practice, leave your school life at a period for now…See ya!” Giovanni picked up his backpack before walking out quickly.

Kori watched Giavonni walk off with confusion before realizing she could finally leave, quickly packing up her stuff. She sighed softly as she grabbed her bags and headed out of the library, going to the dance room for practice.

(just a heads up a may disappear for a few days, going on vacation and may not have access to gtq!
i'll hopefully be back by friday evening if i don't end up hopping on at any point before lol)
