Maeve played with the end of her braid.

Lavender grinned, leaning closer to her so she could play with more of her hair.

Maeve smiled, doing so.

Lavender leaned into her touch, burying her face in Maeve's shoulder. She hated how much she loved getting attention from Maeve.

Maeve giggled, letting her. She liked holding Lavender, even if she wasn’t quite sure why. Probably because she liked her a lot. Lavender was cute when she was flustered.

"What are you laughing at?" Lavender chuckled, moving her head slightly to the side so she could look at Maeve.

‘Nothing,’ Maeve grinned dorkily.

"It doesn't look like nothing..."

‘Shh, it’s nothing.’

"No it's not! Pleaaaase tell me?" Lavender giggled.

‘Nooooooo!’ Maeve tried to sound whiny, but she ended up giggling.

"Why noooooot?" Lavender matched her tone, grinning. She leaned closer into Maeve, trying to look cute and innocent so she'd want to tell her.

Maeve blushed. ‘You’re just, um, very affectionate today,’ she said flusteredly.

Lavender blushed. "I-uhm-yeah, I guess I have." She looked down, very nervous and scared that Maeve didn't like it. "I-I can stop, if you want..."
