Vincent’s eyes were glued to his screen. Unlike normal keyboards, his was in alphabetical order.

Jesuschristwhatdoyouhaveagainsttheenglishlexicon. ‘Huh?’ Vincent asked, looking at him, then back at the screen.

EverythingughI'msoupset. "Your keyboard. Why's it like that?"

Ohmygodchilloutmydude. ‘Why’s it like what?’

Imtiredok- "Alphabetical."

‘Oh. It’s more efficient than your qwerties,’ Vincent said, continuing to type away.

Sebastian took a deep breath. "Ok."

‘I’ve never understood the qwerties. It’s fun to say, but it’s just a random organisation of letters. Quite pointless,’ Vincent said.

Sebastian shrugged, trying to see what he was programming.

Vincent continued typing away for a while. It was around 9pm now. He stood up and grabbed the USB thing, which he had named Mary, and walked over to Barbara. He climbed up the ladder and stuck Mary inside the panel thing.

Sebastian followed him, staring at the machine.

Vincent turned it on. It made a whirring sound. Vincent grabbed a disk and put it on the opposite side of the room, then opened a door like thing on his machine, revealing a large tube shape. ‘Would you mind standing here, Bas?’

Sebastian shrugged, following him. "Right here?"
