“Stop, seriously? I’d love to do that~” Connor said with a smile, leaning into Evan’s side a little.

“Yeah,” Evan said with a small smile. “They just- like, feel so soft, y’know? I dunno the directions but my dad would know what it’s called.”

“Literally- Cats are so f---in’ amazing, honestly,” Connor said, chuckling softly. “We should totally go~”

“Alright, let’s go,” Evan said with a small smile, sitting up straight to stand.

Conn sat up, watching Evan for a moment. He rested his hand on the brunette’s and leaned over, kissing his cheek before moving off the bed.

Evan froze, blushing profusely. “Oh- uh- thanks-“

“Just a little payment for earlier~” Connor replied, his face bright red. “And, you’re welcome~”

Evan scoffed quietly, moving to stand awkwardly.

Connor watched Evan for a moment, wanting to ask if he needed hep but didn’t want to baby him.

Evan stood, taking a moment to steady himself. He started towards his door, running a hand through his hair. “Ready?”

“Yep,” Connor replied with a smile, finally cutting off the music on his phone.

Evan sighed quietly, heading out the door and carefully down the stairs.

Connor followed close by, humming softly.

“Dad- where’s that animals shelter?” Evan asked, coming downstairs. “Why?” He asked, glancing up from his newspaper. “We wanna go-“ His dad nodded, telling them the adress and directions.

"Is it far from here?" Connor asked, pulling up his phone and checking where it was on the GPS.
