Connor glanced over, lifting his head a little to look at Evan. "You okay, Ev?" He asked softly, resting a hand on the brunette's knee.

“Not great, but I’ve been worse,” Evan mumbled quietly.

"Do you want me to get you something? Medicine, water?" Connor asked, rubbing Evan's knee with his thumb.

“No- No, I’m fine,” Evan mumbled quietly, reaching a hand up to rub his face.

"Are you sure?" Connor asked gently, watching Evan with a hint of concern on his face.

“Mhm,” Evan hummed, turning his head to the side so Connor couldn’t see it as well.

Connor furrowed his brows, moving to sit on his knees. "Evan, are you being honest with me?" He said softly, rubbing Evan's leg with his hand.

“Ugh, don’t say it like that,” He said with a quiet chuckle,

"Well, are you?" Connor asked, chuckling softly.

“Not really,” Evan mumbled, keeping his head turned.

"You sure you don't want medicine or something? Or do you wanna try and lay down for a bit?" Connor asked, rubbing Evan's knee with his thumb.

“I- yeah, I’m gonna lay down,” Evan said softly, slowly sitting up to stand.

Connor nodded and stood to his feet, stepping back and giving Evan a bit of room.

Evan stood, standing there for a moment. “Could you help?” He asked, his useless eyes pointed at the floor as he reached out for Connor.

"Yeah, I got you," Connor said with a small smile, moving back to Evan's side and wrapping an arm around him as he helped him over to his bed.
