“I said I was going to!” Evan said with a chuckle, crossing his arms.

"Yeah, you ask for me- She'll say yes if you ask," Connor said, chuckling softly.

Evan giggled quietly, rolling his eyes. “How do I even ask if you guys can get a cat? I’ve been to your house, like, twice-“

"Well- That's true," Connor said with a chuckle, leaning against Evan's side.

“We’ll figure something out,” Evan said with a chuckle, shrugging.

Connor nodded, petting Penny again with a small smile as he rested his head on his boyfriend's shoulder.

Evan froze, smiling softly and petting the cat in his lap.

Connor hummed softly, zoning out as he pet Penny.

“You okay?” Evan asked after a moment of silence, watching Connor.

"Hm? Oh- Yes, I'm fine," Connor replied, chuckling softly. "Zoned out trying to think of how I'm gonna ask my mom if I can adopt Penny- you sure I can't guilt trip her~?"

“Yes, positive,” Evan said with a chuckle, nudging Connor’s side.

Connor chuckled and nodded, curling closer to Evan's side with a small smile.

“If she says no again, I’ll get Penny and you can see her all the time,” Evan said with a chuckle.

"Yess~" Connor said with a smile, petting Penny for a moment.

“It’s giving: ‘my precious’~” Evan teased, watching Connor pet Penny.
