“Yeah, it was okay,” Evan said with a nod, sinking back into Connor’s arms.

“That’s good to hear,” Connor said, smiling as he held Evan close. He kissed his head, humming softly.

“Did you sleep at all?” Evan asked, lifting his head to look at Connor.

“Mm, no- I got enough sleep earlier,” Connor replied, looking down at Evan. “I’ve just kinda been, zoned out- staring at the sky~”

“Does it look nice?” Evan said, rolling onto his back.

“Yeah, it’s nice and cloudy,” Connor replied, nodding a little.

“Oh,” Evan said, squinting slightly. “It’s kinda boring-“

“Mm, I like it- Easy to zone out when not much is going on,” Connor said, chuckling softly.

“Huh, that’s fair,” Evan said, stretching. “How long has it been? I don’t even remember falling asleep.”
