“I mean, I dunno if I like only guys or not,” Connor said, chuckling softly. “I’ve dated a few girls, so- Maybe?? I dunno-“

“Mm, that’s fair,” Evan said quietly, curling closer to Connor.

“What about you? Do you like only guys or is it a mix??” Connor asked, running a hand through Evan’s hair.

“I don’t know, you’re the first person I’ve dated,” Evan shrugged. “Unless girls just don’t like me- but I’ve had crushes on them, so-“

“So maybe bi,” Connor said, chuckling softly. “Of course, there’s always the reasoning that society’s made you think you like girls, when in reality you don’t-“

“Yeah- it’s f---in’ stupid,” he muttered, yawning quietly.

“Exactly,” Connor replied, chuckling softly. He held Evan close, kissing the top of his head.

“Yeah, just like when-“ Evan mumbled, becoming incoherent as sleep came over him.

Connor stifled a laugh and smiled, holding Evan close. “G’night, Ev,” he spoke softly, rubbing his back. “I love you~”

Evan hummed quietly in response, curling closer to Connor.

Connor laid on the hammock with Evan in his arms, zoned out lost in thought as he stared blankly at the sky. -
Evan made a small, scared noise in his sleep, tensing up. A few seconds later, he sucked in a breath, pushing himself up a little, trying to remember where he was.

“You alright?” Connor asked softly, coming back to reality and looking over at Evan.

Evan jumped, netting eyes with Connor and relaxing. “Yeah- I’m good. Sorry-“

“You’re good, don’t apologize,” Connor replied, smiling at Evan. “Did you sleep alright?”
