“You sure?” Connor asked gently, laying down with Evan. “You- You don’t have to eat if you don’t want to, but you should at least try- No pressure though, obviously~”

“Yeah, I- I don’t think I can,” Evan said softly, resting the paper plate on his stomach.

“Hey, don’t sweat it,” Connor said with a nod, kissing Evan’s cheek. “You don’t have to, I’m not gonna make you, okay?”

“Thanks,” Evan said softly, a nervous smile on his face.

“No problem, baby,” Connor said with a smile, taking Evan’s plate and pouring the chips onto his own plate. “I’ll eat ‘em for you~” He said, chuckling softly as he ate a few chips.

“Thanks,” Evan said with a chuckle, turning on his side a little.

Connor smiled and wrapped an arm around Evan’s shoulder, eating a few more chips.

Evan smiled softly, resting his head against Connor’s shoulder and yawning quietly.

Connor hummed softly, eating a few more chips as he held Evan close.

Evan hummed quietly, his eyelids fluttering shut.

Connor rubbed Evan’s arm with his hand, continuing to hum. “Can- Can I ask you some stuff? Like, about why you don’t really eat much? You obviously don’t answer, I’m just curious-“

“Uh- sure,” Evan said nervously, opening his eyes again.

“Again, you don’t have to answer anything you don’t want to, okay?” Connor repeated, watching Evan.

“Okay,” Evan whispered, rolling onto his back again.

“Have you always kind of, not wanted to eat whenever breakfast, lunch or dinner comes around? Or is this more recent?” He asked softly, holding Evan close.
