Evan picked up the painting of himself again, studying it. “I didn’t know you were such a good artist.”

“What can I say, I’m full of surprises- Kind of a mystery, wouldn’t you say~?” Connor teased, chuckling softly.

“And you denied me when I said you were misterious-“ Evan said, laughing.

“I know, I know,” Connor said with a chuckle, kissing Evan’s head with a small smile.

Evan rolled his eyes, chuckling softly. “At least you admit it~”

Connor chuckled softly, holding Evan close as he went back to humming along to the music.

Evan looked back down at the picture, yawning quietly after a few moment.

“You tired?” Connor asked, chuckling quietly.

“I’m always tired,” Evan said, chuckling quietly and rubbing his eye with one hand.

“Real, honestly,” Connor said with a chuckle, holding Evan close. “You wanna lay down?”

“Let me admire your amazing painting for a minute longer-“ Evan said, studying the painting.

Connor chuckled, nodding as he held Evan close. “I’m glad you like it~”

“When did you even make it?” Evan said with a small smile, looking over at Connor.

“I started it when you called me after you got your sight back,” Connor replied, rubbing Evan’s back as he watched the brunette.

“Shut the f--- up- on that call? When you were ‘in the groove?’” Evan said, scoffing playfully.
