“Yeah- I mean, I wasn’t painting during that time, just working on the sketch,” Connor replied, chuckling softly.

“Oh,” Evan said quietly, furrowing his brows and looking back down at the paper. “How long did it take you to paint it?”

“Not too long, just a couple weeks- School work kept me busy,” Connor said, chuckling softly as he rubbed Evan’s back.

Evan nodded, yawning quietly, leaning against Connor. “That’s fair. It’s really cool, though.”

“Thank you~” Connor said with a smile, holding Evan close and kissing the side of his head.

“Okay-“ Evan yawned again, setting the painting down on the nearby desk. “Let’s lay down-“

Connor chuckled and nodded, moving to lay down and hugging Evan close.

Evan moved him, naturally hugging onto him and resting his head onto Connor’s chest. He froze, lifting his head a little. “This is okay- right? I don’t mean to make you uncomfortable-“

“No, this is great~” Connor said with a smile, nodding. “I love cuddles and stuff, don’t worry~”

“Oh, okay, good,” Evan paused to yawn for a moment, moving back to his original position. “Because that was comfortable- God, I might fall asleep in the near future, sorry if I do- the nightmares were awful last night,” he mumbled quietly.

“No, you’re all good- Get some sleep, okay?” Connor spoke softly, holding Evan close and rubbing his back.

Evan shuddered slightly, nodding a little against Connor’s chest. He lifted his head a little, studying his boyfriend with tired eyes. Since he had gotten his sight back, he had vowed to himself to enjoy every moment he could, looking at and studying things he loved.

Connor met Evan’s eyes, watching him with a lovesick grin. “Hi~” He said quietly, kissing his nose.

Evan flushed red, moving his face back into Connor’s chest. “Goodbye-“

Connor laughed softly, running a hand through Evan’s hair. “Bye~” He said softly, kissing the top of his head.
