George flushed red, quickly turning a grabbing a wooden bowl. He started grabbing ingredients, bringing them to his workstation on the counter.
-
Clay snuck glances at George as he worked, watching him with a small smile. “So, what’s on the menu for breakfast?” He asked, humming softly as he dried some dishes.
-
(are we in like… medieval times?)
“Pancakes with mixed fruits,” George said just as he had announced dinner the night before, glancing over. -
(uhhhhhh, ig? unless we wanna do smth more modern, i’m fine with either :))
“Mm, I’m more of a waffle guy, but pancakes are good~” Clay said, chuckling softly as he picked up another plate and washed it. -
(okkk)
“I haven’t found the waffle iron in here, but when I find it, you’ll know,” George said with a soft chuckle, moving to poke at the fire for the stovetop. -
(ngl, kinda wanna do smth more modern mebbe lol
do we wanna have them have like phones n stuff?)
“Hell yeah~” Clay said with a chuckle, smiling at George for a moment before going back to cleaning the dishes. -
(uhhh yuh we can do that u^u)
George went back to his counter, measuring out ingredients and getting lost in thought as he did so. -
Clay watched George for a moment with a small smile, admiring him for a moment. He’s pretty cute, honestly~ He thought, continuing to watch before looking back at the dishes.
-
George started to mix together the ingredients, mumbling something to himself as he added some more flour. “So, uh, do you have anything planned for today?”
-
“Mm, training, more training, classes and more training- the usual,” Clay said, chuckling softly as he dried off a glass. “That and my parents nagging me about getting a wife and s---.” He rolled his eyes, exhaling softly.
-
“Oh,” George said softly, pouring some batter onto the stove. “Do you want one?”
-
“Hell no,” Clay said, chuckling softly. “I mean- I want to get married, but-“ He paused, exhaling shakily. “Never mind, it’s- it’s not important.” He went back to doing the dishes, his hands shaking a little.
-
“It seems kinda important,” George commented. “You seem pretty upset- I mean, it is none of my business, though, sorry-“
-
“No, it’s- It’s okay,” Clay said, a small smile on his face. He glanced around at the other cooks in the room, exhaling softly. “I’d rather it not get out anyways. Not that I don’t trust you, there’s just- people who are willing to trade royal “secrets” for money ‘n s---.”
-
“Oh, yeah,” George agreed, flipping the pancakes over. “That’s fair. So let’s, uh, let’s talk about- oh, man, this weathers’ been nice, huh?”
