“Oh, thank you so much,” Clay said with a chuckle, smiling warmly at George.

"Of course," George said with a small smile, bringing out the extra pieces of ham he had sliced the day before. He grabbed the honey and bread, smearing it on. "Are you sure you don't want anything different?"

“I’m fine with any kind of sandwich, honestly,” Clay replied with a chuckle, watching George with a small smile.

"Well, I've already gotten the things for the same sandwich as yesterday, so if you're not picky- that what you're getting-" He said with a chuckle, laying the meat on the bread. Another chef punched his arm, glaring at him. "You can't speak to the prince like that-" He whisper-hissed, hoping Clay couldn't hear him.

“Like I said, I’m fine with anything,” Clay said with a chuckle, watching George with a smile. “It is a good sandwich, anyways~”

George glared at the other chef for a moment, flushing red and looking down as he made the sandwich. "Yeah, it's a good recipe."

“Made by a great chef, too~” Clay said with a smirk, chuckling softly as he watched George.

"Mhm," George said, putting the lettuce on and the other piece of bread, putting it on a plate and moving to hand it to Clay.

“Thank you~” Clay said with a smile, taking the sandwich and eating a bite. “Mm, even better than the last one-“

George forced a small smile, bowing his head slightly before walking away to continue washing dishes.

Clay watched George for a moment, taking another bite of his sandwich.

George stayed focused on cleaning, humming quietly.

f---, he looks really cute when he’s focused- Clay thought with a small smile, his gaze trained on the brunette as he took another bite of his sandwich.

George glanced over at Clay, furrowing his eyes and pausing what he was doing. “What?”

Clay blushed, an awkward smile appearing on his face. “Nothing- Sorry,” he said, quickly looking away and taking another bite of his sandwich. Jesus, could you be any more obvious, Clay?!
