“I’m glad,” George said with a proud smile, moving to clean the cutting board.
-
“The last head chef never made sandwiches like this- this, is some top-tier food,” Clay said, chuckling softly.
-
“Thank you,” George repeated with a happy smile, grabbing some carrots and starting to cup them up.
-
“What’s for dinner?” Clay asked, watching George work on making the food.
-
“Steak seared medium well, with boiled potatos and boiled vegetables,” George said, continuing chopping up the carrots.
-
“Daaamn, that sounds good too~” Clay said, chuckling softly.
-
“Yeah, I’m excited to see how it turns out,” George said with a nod, smiling softly.
-
“What would you say is your favorite thing to make?” Clay asked, taking another bite of his sandwich.
-
George paused, thinking for a minute as he continued chopping vegetables. “That’s kind of hard to choose… but if I had to choose, probably baked ziti.”
-
“Ooh, baked ziti is so good,” Clay said with a chuckle, taking another bite of his sandwich.
-
“I plan on making it at some point soon,” George said with a shrug, moving to grab a few pots.
-
“Hell yeah,” Clay said, chuckling softly. He soon finished off his sandwich, humming softly as he went to go wash his plate.
-
“Someone will get that, sir, don’t worry about it,” George said, glancing over to Clay.
-
“Ah, it’s all good- I’m already over here, anyways,” Clay said with a shrug, washing the plate and setting it out to dry.
-
George froze, watching him wash the plate and moving back to finishing up chopping the vegetables.
