"Thanks for bringing this over," Clay said as he answered the door, grabbing a tray of food from the servant. He closed the door and brought it over to the bed, bringing the tray over to George. -
George was still curled up in bed, the blanket brought up over his shoulders as he quietly snored.

Clay set the tray down on the bedside table, setting it down and sitting down on the bed. He gently rested a hand on George's arm, rubbing his arm with his thumb. "Georgie, hun," he spoke quietly, leaning a little closer to his boyfriend.

“What! What do you want-“ George said fearfully, startling awake and quickly flinching away from Clay.

"Woah, hun- it's just me," Clay said quickly, pulling his hand away. "It's just me, honey, you're okay- I promise-"

George met eyes with Clay, quickly catching his breath and trying to relax. “Sorry-“

"Hey, you're okay, don't apologize," Clay said with a small smile, watching George. He glanced over and grabbed the tray of food, moving it to his lap. "You wanna try and eat somethin', hun?"

George froze, looking at the tray of food, his stomach turned into a pit. “I’m- I’m not very hungry.”

"You sure?" Clay asked in a gentle voice, looking over at George. "I- I think you should try and eat, at least a little-"

“I- I dunno-“ George said weakly, averting Clay’s gaze.

"Hey, it's okay, you- you don't have to if you don't want to, I won't force you," Clay said with a small smile, looking down at the tray. "Could you at least try and drink something, though?"
