“Me too,” George whispered, a quiet sob escaping his lips.
-
Clay smiled and wiped away George's tears, resting his forehead against the brunette's. "I love you s-so much, honey," he whispered, caressing his boyfriend's cheek with his thumb.
-
“I love you too,” George whispered, crying quietly.
-
Clay held George close, leaning back a little and pressing a short, gentle kiss on his boyfriend's forehead.
-
George leaned into the kiss, sobbing quietly.
-
"I've got you, you're safe," Clay whispered softly, holding George close.
-
George took a deep breath, curling as close to Clay as he could. “I thought I was gonna die in there-“
-
"I would never let that happen," Clay said, holding George close and gently rubbing his back.
-
George winced, flinching away from Clays hand a little. “Please- stop-“
-
"s---, I-I'm sorry-" Clay said with a worried voice, pulling his hand away. "Sorry, honey-"
-
“You’re fine,” George whispered, turning his head away and coughing into his elbow. “He threw me into his car or whatever it was every time you set up a time, or- whenever, I don’t really remember. And my back hurts from it.”
-
"I'm so sorry he did that to you, Georgie," Clay spoke softly, holding George close.
-
“It’s not you’re fault,” George said quietly, glancing around the mostly dark room, making sure he didn’t see any dark figures before hesitantly resting his head on Clay’s chest again.
-
Clay exhaled shakily, laying his head back on the pillow and closing his eyes.
-
George sighed quietly, his eyes still glancing nervously around the room.
