Clay ran his hand through George's wet hair, kissing the side of his head. "I love you so f-f---ing much, honey," he whispered, sniffling softly.

“I l-love you too,” George whispered shakily, continuing to sob quietly.

Clay let out a quiet sob, squeezing his eyes shut as he gently rubbed George's back.

“Ow- Ow, please stop-“ George said quietly m, suddenly sitting up straight. “Sorry-“

"f---- No, don't be sorry," Clay said, quickly letting go of George. "Sorry, I should've been a bit more careful-"

“It’s fine, it’s fine,” George said, sighing quietly. “Can- could you finish with my hair so I can go lay down? The waters getting cold,” he whispered.”

"I think I'm pretty much done with your hair," Clay replied, watching George. "Do you need any more help, or are you good?"

“Uh- no. I think I’ll just try and wash off… as best I can,” George whispered, glancing down at the dirty water.

"Okay," Clay replied with a nod, standing and drying his hands off on his shorts.

“I love you,” George whispered, moving to stand and unplug the rub and turn the shower on.

"I love you, too," Clay said softly, watching George with a small smile. "Do- Do you want me to leave and let you wash off, or-"

“Could- could you sit outside the curtain?” George said, flinching slightly as the water came out of the shower head. “And maybe get me some pajamas?”

"Yeah, of course, hun," Clay said with a smile, nodding. "I'll be right back, promise," he added, leaving the bathroom for a moment and going to get some pajamas for George.

George nodded, waiting for Clay to come back before he closed the curtain. In the meantime, he grabbed his loofa and put body wash on it.

Clay hummed softly as he grabbed out a shirt and pajama pants, setting them on the dresser. He grabbed a pair of boxers and brought the clothes into the bathroom, setting them on the counter. "I'm back~"
