Clay let out a quiet, shaky sob, holding George closer. "I-I love you s-so much, and I- I'm so glad y-you're back-"

“I love you too,” George whispered shakily.

Clay exhaled shakily, lifting his head and wiping his eyes. "Do- do you wanna go lay down? T-Take a nap or- or something??" He asked, sniffling softly as he looked down at George.

George fearfully glanced around his room, as if his kidnapper would jump out of the shadows at any point. “I- I need to shower and stuff.”

"Oh, right- yeah, of course," Clay replied, nodding as he rubbed his eyes.

”Okay- but-“ George paused, sighing quietly. “Can you help? Maybe like- wash my hair? My arms really hurt.”

"Of course, yeah," Clay replied with a soft smile, nodding.

“Thank you,” George whispered quietly, staying where he was for a second. “Could- could you check the room and stuff and make sure- this is gonna sound stupid, but- yknow, that there aren’t people… lurking, I guess?”

Clay gave George a reassuring smile, nodding. "Yeah, of course, hun," he spoke softly, gently pressing a kiss on his boyfriend's cheek as he led him over to the bathroom.

George grabbed onto Clay’s hand, warily following him to the bathroom.

Clay pulled back the curtains, opened the small closet in the bathroom and peered behind every corner, finding the bathroom empty. "We're all good," he said, looking over at George. "So, how do you like your baths- warm, I'm guessing~?" He asked in a gentle voice, chuckling softly.

“Yeah,” George said softly, his shoulders relaxing slightly. “Really hot, honestly- so it doesn’t get cold fast.”

"You got it~" Clay said with a small smile, nodding as he crouched to plug up the drain and started the water. He hummed shakily, trying not to let his mind wander and just focus on taking care of George.

George watched Clay, continuing to glance around the room. “Should I- like- go put a bathing suit on? Not that you haven’t seen- y’know-“

"If that'd make you feel more comfortable, you can," Clay replied, looking back over at George as he stood up.
