“You sure? You- you can tell me if I’m like, moving too fast, or-“
-
“Uh, no, honestly, so don’t mind it,” George shrugged, smiling softly.
-
Clay exhaled with relief, smiling and nodding. “So, other than cooking, what do you like to do?” He asked George, gently taking his hand and leaning him over to a couch off to the side of his bedroom.
-
“Uh, cook,” George chuckled, sitting down on the couch. “s---, this couch is comfortable-“
-
“That’s it? Really?” Clay asked, chuckling softly.
-
“Uh, yeah?” George said softly, chuckling awkwardly and wringing his hands together. “I guess I also like, uh- I can crochet?”
-
“Aw, that’s fun~” Clay said, smiling a little. “I mostly just do sports, which is fun, I guess- Gets boring after a while, though.”
-
“Yeah, I bet,” George nodded. “I honestly don’t think I could keep up any sport.”
-
“Pfft- that’s fair,” Clay said, chuckling softly. “I’ve just been doing it for ages, so I’m kind of used to it.”
-
“Ah, that makes fair,” George said with a chuckle, nodding.
-
“What other things do you like?” Clay asked, turning to face George.
-
“Uh, I kinda like animals?” George said hesitantly.
-
“What kind of animals?” Clay asked, resting his hands in his lap.
-
“Uh, like, horses, I love seeing them out in the pastures- I walk down there all the time,” George said softly. “I like… cats, cats are pretty cute.”
-
“I love cats~” Clay said, smiling. “I actually have a pet cat- Her name is Patches,” he added, running a hand through his hair.
