“I well- I kinda keep forgetting. But I don’t really know how to feel when I do remember. Especially since, like- I dunno, you asked me out,” George said chuckling quietly.

Clay chuckled softly, nodding. “I get that, just- don’t feel obligated to like, I dunno, always have to go above and beyond to make me feel like- Well, I guess I can’t say royalty since I technically am royalty,” he said, wrapping an arm around George’s waist. “Just, treat me like you’d treat any other guy, please-“

George nodded, blushing a little. “I- yeah, that’s what I’m trying to do.”

Clay smiled, nodding. “Sorry, I- I’m probably asking for a lot-“

“No! I mean, you deserve to be treated like a prince, but yeah, I’ll try,” George said with a nod, smiling.

“Well, now I’m your prince~” Clay said with a chuckle, pressing a short kiss on George’s lips.

George kissed him back for a moment, pulling away with a flustered smile, glancing at his lap. “That’s sweet.”

“Only for you~” Clay said with a warm smile, chuckling softly as he held George close.

George chuckled nervously, throwing his head back. “You’re really nice-“

“What, did you expect me not to be?” Clay asked softly, a hint of a worried look washing across his face before his smile returned.

“What? No- I mean, not this nice- I don’t know, I’m sorry,” George said, chuckling awkwardly

Clay smiled a little at his awkwardness, kissing his cheek. “No, I- I think I get what you mean,” he spoke, chuckling softly.

“Okay, thanks,” George said, chuckling awkwardly.

Clay watched George for a moment, rubbing his side with his thumb. “You’re really pretty,” he spoke softly, a small smile on his face.

George smiled softly, flushing bright red. “Stop it-“ he mumbled, hiding his face in his hands.
