The cat purred and nuzzled her face against George’s stomach, meowing softly. Clay watched with a smile, taking another bite of his sandwich. “She really likes you,” he said, chuckling softly.
-
“As she should,” George said with a chuckle, continuing to pet her. “C’mere, come sit with me,” he said, patting the spot next to him on the bed.
-
Clay chuckled softly and walked over to his bed, sitting down beside George. He leaned against his side, taking another bite of his sandwich as he watched the brunette with a smile.
-
“Patches is so freaking cute-“ George said with a bright smile, scratching behind her ears.
-
“Mm, yeah- But I’m cuter, right~?” Clay teased, giggling softly as he leaned closer into George’s side.
-
“Hmm, it’s a close call, but I think so, yeah~” George said with a giggle, looking over at Clay.
-
Clay chuckled softly and pressed a kiss on George’s cheek, smiling.
-
“So, you mentioned a movie night before?” George said hesitantly, trying to push out the thought in his mind that Clay was the prince, that he was ‘above him’.
-
“Yeah- You wanna do that tonight? Because I’m totally down for that~” Clay said, wrapping an arm around George’s waist.
-
“Depends on the movie,” George said, laughing as Patches playfully swatted at Clay’s hand around his waist.
-
Clay winced a little, pulling his hand back and resting it on the small of George’s back. “Uhh, well, what kind of movies do you like?”
-
“Don’t hurt your dad-“ George scolded gently, bringing her paw back into her body. “Uh, I kinda like action movies? OO- I like Ratatouille. Cooks represent-“
-
“Yess, Ratatouille is fire,” Clay replied with a chuckle, nodding. “Let’s watch that, then~” He moved to get up off the bed, grabbing his sandwich and heading over to the TV and couch.
-
“Okay,” George said with a soft smile, gently picking Patched up as he followed Clay. She meowed softly in protest, making George frown as he walked. “I know, baby, I’m sorry, we’re almost there-“
-
“Ah, she’s just a little cry baby, don’t feel too bad for her-“ Clay said, earning a hiss from Patches. “Damn- Don’t you hiss at me, young lady,” he said with a chuckle, setting his plate on the coffee table and flopping down on the couch.
