“Yeah, it’s a good one~” Clay said with a tired chuckle, nodding a little. He yawned again, curling closer to George.

“You tired?” George asked, giggling a little.

“Yeah- I’m f---in’ exhausted,” Clay said with a chuckle, struggling to keep his eyes open as he rubbed George’s side with his thumb.

“Well, I think I’ll head out, then- Let you sleep,” George said, gently moving Patches off of his lap.

“Nooo, don’t leave mee~” Clay jokingly whined, chuckling softly. Patches meowed in protest a little, jumping off the couch and walking off.

“I just- I don’t wanna get you caught,” George said softly, chuckling quietly.

“Mm, I know,” Clay said, sighing softly. He yawned, stretching a little before hugging George closer again. “Could I get a kiss before you leave~?” He asked with a sleepy grin, smiling at George.

“Of course,” George said with a smile, pressing a short kiss onto Clay’s lips. “Alright, get your butt in bed-“

“Nooo, that was too short~” Clay whined with a chuckle, pulling George closer. He pressed another, longer kiss on George’s lips, humming softly and pulling away after a moment.

George giggled quietly after they pulled away, admiring Clay for a moment. “Alright, satisfied?”

“Yes, very much so~” Clay said with a chuckle, watching George with a lovesick smile. “Alright, I guess you’ve got to go,” he said, standing to his feet.

“Yeah, I gotta get up early to make breakfast,” George said softly, standing. “Bye Patches~”

Patches meowed, now stretched out on Clay’s bed. Clay chuckled, walking George over to his door. “You get some rest, then. G’night~” He said with a warm smile, kissing his cheek.

“Good night,” George said with a bright smile, backing out of the door and turning down the hall.

Clay watched George for a moment with a lovesick grin before gently shutting the door, sighing. He slumped to the floor, chuckling softly to himself. What have I gotten myself into~? He asked himself, standing back up after a moment and flopping down on his bed. God, he’s literally too f---ing cute~
