Clay hummed softly as he crept down into the kitchen early that morning, peering in to see George getting ready for breakfast. He glanced around to see the rest of the kitchen was empty, at least for now, and smirked, walking over and wrapping his arms around the brunette’s waist. “Good morning, Georgie~” -
(gm! i’m alr, hbu?)
George jumped, glancing over before relaxing. “Oh my God- Hi, good morning. Why are you up so early?” -
(i’m good, just chillin lol
that’s good to hear :))
“I wanted to see you~” Clay said with a smile, resting his head on George’s shoulder. “Plus, I needed some peace and quiet before I start my day- And maybe some hugs~” -
(nice nice lol
i’ve got some apple sauce u^u)
“Well, I’ll give you one hug but I can’t guarantee many more because I have to make a lot of bread,” George said softly. -
(i- no comment
lmfaoo)
“That’s all good~” Clay said with a smile, kissing George’s cheek. “Also, bread? Hell yeah~” -
“Yeah, sub sandwiches for lunch,” George said with a soft smile, turning to wrap his arms around Clay.
-
“Mm, sounds delicious~” Clay replied with a smile, pressing a short kiss on George’s lips. “You should totally teach me how to make bread someday, on my God-“
-
“I can try and teach you right now,” George said softly, smiling. “It’s not that hard- it just takes a long time.”
-
“I’d love to learn~” Clay said with a smile, admiring George for a moment.
-
“Oh, well, c’mere,” George said, pressing a quick kiss on his lips before turning back around to the counter. “You have to measure the ingredients perfectly.”
-
Clay smiled as he kissed George back, letting go of him when he turned around. “Right now?” He asked, chuckling softly.
-
“When else?” George said, grabbing a bowl. “So- this is the sourdough starter, it’s alive, pretty much-“ he said, grabbing a spatula and stirring it around. “I have to add flour to it every day to keep it growing so we can get more bread.”
-
Clay chuckled softly, nodding as he listened to George.
-
“So, scoop out three cups of flower and add them to the bowl,” George said, scooping in some salt.
