“So, uh, what are you doing today?” George asked.

“The usual training and stuff,” Clay said, sighing a little. “I’m thinking about skipping out on some of my classes after lunch, I like, desperately need a brain break,” he spoke softly, staring at the bowl.

“Wanna come hang out in the kitchen? I’ll probably have dishes to wash,” George said softly.

“I’d love to, I’ll even help~” Clay said with a smile, pressing a kiss on George’s cheek. “After, we can hang out in my room for a little, if you’re free~”

“Yeah, I’d be free,” George said, smiling softly.

Clay smiled and watched George for a moment, pressing another kiss on his cheek.

George smiled softly, watching Clay. “How did you sleep?”

“Mm, I slept alright, I suppose,” Clay said with a soft chuckle, running a hand through his hair.

“How’s Patches?” George asked, smiling.

“She’s good- Almost scratched my eyes out when I woke up this morning, but she’s good,” Clay replied, chuckling softly.

“Oh- that’s so cute,” George said with a chuckle, moving to put another bowl in a mixer.

“Cute?! I could’ve gone blind!” Clay exclaimed, laughing softly.

“Please, are you blind?” George laughed, moving over and close to Clay’s face.

Clay blushed red, a nervous grin on his face. “Well, no- I [i]could’ve[i] gone blind, though,” he said with a chuckle, leaning closer and pressing a kiss on George’s lips.

George smiled into the kiss, quickly pulling away as he heard footsteps outside the kitchen. “I think those are the other chefs-“
