“Hm, I can’t remember his name right now, but I’ve met the head gardener a few times,” Clay replied, nodding. “Sees like a nice guy~”

“Hm, he’s a good gardener,”George commented, glancing out the window.

Clay nodded in agreement, watching George for a moment with a small smile before looking out the same window.

“Yeah, anyways,” George said quietly, dishing out the salmon once he was sure it was cooked.

Clay leaned against the counter, watching as George cooked with a small smile. “How’d you learn to cook?” He asked quietly, crossing his arms over his chest.

“Uh, my mom, she got me started,” George said with a shrug. “But I went to culinary school a few years ago. And learned most of the skills I have now.”

Clay smiled a little, nodding. “Culinary school sounds fun,” he spoke, watching George for a moment before looking away.

“You’ve clearly never been to culinary school,” George said with a chuckle.

“Yeah, I haven’t- don’t really have time to go to school with all the stuff on my schedule currently,” Clay said, exhaling softly.

“I was joking,” George said, softly exhaling. “Do you want to go?”

“I’d like to go to an actual school, honestly,” Clay replied, a small smile on his face. “It seems fun- minus the actual school work.”

“So, you want a regular social like?” George said, raising an eyebrow.

“Noo, I just wanna go to school to f--- around,” Clay deadpanned, a small smirk on his face as he looked over at George. “I do want a more “normal” social life, I want to get to go to school and stuff, like a normal person.”

“Mm, it’s fair, but it’s not as great as you think it is,” George said with a shrug. “Now, you could probably say the same thing about total life, but I’m not saying I want that-“

“Yeah, it’s- I mean, it’s not terrible or whatever, but it’s definitely not all that it’s made out to be,” Clay said, sighing softly.
