“What’s it made out to be?” George asked, furrowing his brows.
-
“I dunno, some perfect life?” Clay said, shrugging a little. “I mean, the media makes it seem like we’re all perfect and everything is perfect, when it’s definitely not-“
-
George hummed in understanding, nodding. “That’s fair. It’s kinda like when I make bread- it usually a little too doughy in the middle, but it looks super nice on the outside.”
-
Clay chuckled softly, nodding. “Yeah, doughy bread does not sound good-“
-
“Eh, it’s better than burnt bread,” George shrugged.
-
“True,” Clay said, chuckling softly.
-
George nodded, placing the salmon and fried cauliflower onto a plate. “Well- you should probably get going, lunch is in like, ten minutes.”
-
“Right, yeah-“ Clay replied with a nod, standing up straight. “See you, George~” He spoke softly, smiling a little and waving at George as he walked out of the kitchen.
-
“Bye, see you,” George said, forcing a small smile and waving.
-
Clay exhaled softly, his face heating up as he walked off. God, he’s so f---ing cute~
-

Clay entered one of the halls, pausing when he saw George walking in the direction away from him. He made his way over to the brunette, coming up behind him and gently grabbing his arms. “Hey-“
-
George flinched, quickly whipping around. “Oh- hi-“
