Casimir gave a small smile, kissing the back of his good hand. ‘I can imagine. I’ll help you with whatever you need, okay? And we can get you a prosthetic if you like, but it might not work…’

Georgie blushed and smiled, giggling softly. “Thank you, Cassie,” he said, pulling Casimir’s hand close and kissing his knuckles. “God, what would I do without you~?”

Casimir smiled, pecking his forehead. ‘You’d still be a gardener with an arm,’ he said quietly.

“I’d also be very lonely, still missing a prosthetic, and heartbroken because the love of my life got married off to some princess he never loved before I could even say hello,” Georgie spoke softly, gently squeezing Casimir’s hand with a giggle.

Casimir blushed. He smiled and intertwined their fingers. ‘And yet you said you weren’t one of my fan girls,’ he said teasingly.

Georgie blushed red wirh embarrassment, giggling awkwardly. “I-I mean, I wasn’t your biggest fangirl-“ She groaned, burying her face in her arm.

Casimir laughed, moving their arm and kissing their forehead. ‘You’re so cute.’

Georgie giggled softly, gently squeezing Casimir’s hand as he looked over at his boyfriend.

Casimir peppered kisses over their face, then pulled back slightly and gazed at them. ‘You’re really not mad at me?’

Georgie furrowed his brows, quickly shaking his head. “No, of course not- Why would I be mad at you??”

‘Darling, you’ve had the worst luck since you met me. You lost your job, then your father, then your arm… why don’t you blame me for that?’

Georgie exhaled softly, nodding. “Yes, those all did happen, but you couldn’t have known they would happen,” he spoke softly, watching Casimir. “I mean, sure I didn’t realize there would be situations like these when I fell in love with you, but I knew it wouldn’t be easy- And when I have my heart set on something, I don’t give up~” He pressed a kiss on Casimir’s hand, smiling happily. “I love you, and I’ll go through hell and back if it means I get to be with you~”

Casimir blushed. He ran his thumb along their knuckles, exhaling shakily. ‘B-But, are you sure you love me? I-I know I’ve asked you think before- but you’re not dating me because I’m a prince- sorry, a king, right?’

“I’m dating you because you’re an incredibly sweet and kind man, Cassie- I love every part of you, the good, the bad and the ugly,” Georgie said, giggling softly. “Although, if I’m being honest, nothing about you is ever ugly- You’re so f---ing handsome~”

Casimir gave a small smile, kissing the back of Georgie’s hand. ‘I love you too,’ he mumbled. ‘I-I’m sorry, I’ve just been overthinking things all night..’
