“Hey, it’s okay- You’re not the only one who’s overthought about that of stuff concerning our relationship,” Georgie spoke softly, watching Casimir with a nervous smile.

‘What have you overthought?’ Casimir asked, looking down at them in worry.

“I just- sometimes I worry you’ll want to be with someone richer or more famous, another royal. Not some lousy, broke gardener like me-“

Casimir gently ran his thumb along Georgie’s cheek. ‘Georgie, you’re far more amazing than any rich or famous person I’ve met.’

Georgie blushed and smiled, leaning into Casimir’s touch. “That’s good to hear~”

Casimir kissed their forehead. ‘Seriously, you’re amazing.’

Georgie giggled and smiled, letting go of Casimir’s hand to run their hand through his hair then cup his cheek. “You’re even more amazing~”

‘I’m really not,’ Casimir chuckled, leaning into their touch.

“Yes you are, you big goober~” Georgie said with a smile, giggling softly. She sat up a little and leaned closer to Casimir, kissing his lips. “You’re absolutely amazing, love~”

‘I’m really not,’ Casimir chuckled, kissing their forehead. ‘For like a year all I was known for was rejecting princesses. Which is a s---ty thing to be known for.’

“Well, they didn’t know the full story, so it’s not like they had any other idea of why you were rejecting them,” Georgie spoke, rubbing Casimir’s cheek with their thumb. “Although I’m sure they’ll realize by now what the reason is, if they haven’t already seen us at the party-“

Casimir gave a small smile and leaned into their touch, exhaling softly. ‘I guess. Maybe now they’ll stop the articles of why I’m such a bad person,’ he said with a tired chuckle.

“You’re not a bad person, love, trust me-“ Georgie spoke softly, pressing a kiss on Casimir’s nose. “Would a bad person be here with me while I recover? Would a bad person have stayed with me all night long??”

‘That’s the bare minimum, darling,’ Casimir said, kissing their cheek.

“Well, some people don’t even do that,” Georgie said, giggling softly, “so I think you’re going great at not being a bad person, in my opinion~”
