The doctor nodded. 'The soonest we can schedule you in is this afternoon.'

“Yes, that’s fine-“ George paused, panicking for a moment. “It- It won’t cost too much, will it?”

'I've got that sorted,' Casimir said, kissing the back of Georgie's hand. 'You don't need to worry about that, my love.'

Georgie nodded, a small smile on their face. “Thank you, hun,” he spoke softly, gently squeezing his hand.

Casimir smiled back. The doctor left.

Georgie exhaled softly, squeezing their eyes shut as a wave of pain washed over their arm.

Casimir held them close.

Georgie laid in the bed, staring at their wrapped up arm. “God, it’s gonna be so weird, getting used to not having two arms,” he said, chuckling tiredly as he glancing over at Casimir. -

Casimir chuckled tiredly, rubbing his eyes. 'I can imagine.' -
“I’m just glad it wasn’t my drawing hand,” Georgie said, giggling softly.

Casimir chuckled. 'Fair enough.'

Georgie yawned softly, shifting closer to where Casimir sat. He exhaled softly, closing his eyes as he gently squeezed Casimir’s hand.

Casimir kissed their forehead.

Georgie blushed and smiled, leaning closer to Casimir. “I love you,” he spoke softly.

'Love you too, sweetheart.'
