“I lost it during a horseback riding incident,” Georgie replied softly, an embarrassed look on his face. “It was my own fault, I kind of did it to myself- I was going too fast and I got flung off my horse, then got impaled by something.”

'Damn, that must've hurt,' Casimir said with a small smile. 'Was it worse than this?'

“Oh, God, yes-“ Georgie said, giggling softly.

Casimir chuckled. 'Was the horse okay?' he asked teasingly. 'And do you want to take the prosthetic off? Since you're probably not going to be allowed out of bed for a while?'

“Yeah- But he was a mean horse, so we got rid of him shortly after the incident,” Georgie said, giggling softly. “Oh, and yes, I do want to take it off- Could you help me?”

'Fair enough. And of course,' Casimir shifted positions slightly so he could help take it off.

“Thank you,” Georgie spoke, sitting up a little. He pulled up the pant leg up, exhaling softly.

Casimir gently pulled off the leg and carefully set it on the ground.

“Thank you,” Georgie spoke softly, laying back down on the bed.He exhaled softly, looking over at Casimir.

'You're welcome,' Casimir said, kissing the top of his head.

Georgie smiled and leaned closer, humming softly. He zoned out, staring down at his arm.

Casimir rubbed their hand. He kissed their knuckles. 'I love you. So much.'

“I love you, too, Casimir,” Georgie spoke softly, nodding. He looked back over at Casimir, exhaling softly. “I think it’s be best to amputate my arm,” he said quietly, gently squeezing his boyfriend’s hand.

Casimir nodded, massaging their hand. 'Okay,' he said, kissing his forehead. Three small children ran into the room, which had been a private room - Casimir had made sure they didn't have to share with other people.
Damien ran to the bed with Bella in his arms, and Michael teetered after him. 'Cassy!' -
“Hello, boys- And Bella~“ Georgie spoke softly, watching them witha small smile.
