Georgie exhaled softly, rolling onto their side and closing their eyes.

Casimir pecked their cheek. 'You guys should go,' he said quietly. 'Mother will be waiting.' Damien sighed and jumped off the bed, picking up Bella.

“Bye, you guys,” Georgie spoke softly with a small smile, waving at the boys and their sister.

'Bye Georgie,' Michael said, waving. Bella babbled. The three left.

Georgie exhaled softly, a pained expression appearing on his face. “It hurts so much,” he murmured, closing his eyes.

'I know,' Casimir said quietly, stroking their cheek. 'You're gonna be okay.'

Georgie leaned into his touch, exhaling shakily. “I think I would be best if I did amputate my arm.

'Okay,' Casimir said softly. 'Do you want me to tell the doctors?'

“Yes, please,” Georgie murmured, nodding.

Casimir gave a small smile. One of the doctors walked in to check on Georgie.

Georgie gently squeezed Casimir’s hand, exhaling softly.

The doctor walked forward and put a hand on Georgie's forehead, checking for a fever. 'Have you decided what course of action you want to take?'
Casimir nodded. 'We've decided to amputate.' -
Georgie nodded in agreement, nervously squeezing Casimir’s hand.

'Okay,' the doctor said, nodding and writing that sound on his clipboard. 'And when do you want that done?'

“As soon as possible, honestly- Get it over with,” Georgie murmured softly, exhaling.
