“Yeah, I am,” Nick said with a small smile, nodding.

Alex nodded, crossing his arms. “So, you two are chill now? Don’t hate each other from the whole, broken picture thing anymore??”

Nick frowned. “No, it doesn’t matter that much.”

“That’s good to hear, I know he was definitely beating himself up over it,” Alex said with a soft chuckle. “He does that a lot, beat himself up over little mistakes he makes.”

“I can tell,” Nick said, chuckling awkwardly as he parked the car. “He broke a plate and woke me up and cried and pouted about it for like, an hour.”

“Cried, or panic attack?” Alex asked with concern in his voice, unbuckling. “He’s okay, right? Nothing- Nothing strange about how he was acting after, right??”

“Uh, no,” Nick, shrugged climbing out of the car. “I mean, he was really upset with himself, but I think he got over it. He wasn’t listening when I told him it wa sokay.”

Alex nodded a little, opening the car door and getting out. “So uh, we’re just getting ice cream stuff, right?”

“Yeah, and cherries, and stuff for spaghetti,” Nick said with a nod, waking to the front doors of the store.

“Ooh, spaghetti? Makin’ a whole-ass meal for Karl or something~?” Alex said with a chuckle, following Nick inside.

“Uh- no, he said that was his favorite meal,” Bick said with a quiet chuckle. “So- yeah, I guess so.”

Alex smirked playfully, nudging Nick’s side with his elbow. “Yeah, that definitely sounds like it~” He teased, walking into the store with Nick. -

Nick chuckled, shrugging. “I mean, I want him to eat, so- -

Alex nodded in understanding, crossing his arms over his chest. “Guess he told you about you-know-what,” he spoke, looking around for a moment. -
Nick narrowed his eyes, pausing as he grabbed a cart. “What specifically?”
