“His anorexia- Wait, did he- f---, he’s gonna kill me if he found out I told you,” Alex whined, covering his face with his hands.

“Oh, no, yeah, I knew,” Nick said with a nod, leaning against the cart. “He came to the hospital for a check-in and I was his nurse.”

“Oh thank God- I thought I just spilled a major secret,” Alex said after a moment, sighing with relief.

“Nah. you’re good,” Nick said with a chuckle, grabbing a box of pasta off the shelf.

Alex chuckled, nodding. He watched Nick for a moment, following him around with his hands in the pockets of his jeans. “So, are you single?” He asked rather bluntly, smirking playfully at the ravenette.

“Uh… yes?” Nick said hesitantly, glancing at Alex.

“Cool, cool- Y’know, Karl’s single, too,” Alex said with a small smirk, walking forward a little. “Ooh, y’know what we should get? Ice cream cones~”

“Uh, yeah, I know. I’ve already asked,” Nick said with a quiet chuckle. “And he’ll yeah, where are those?”

“A few aisles over, I think?” Alex said, walking to the end of the aisle they were in.

“Alright, let’s go,” Nick said with a chuckle, heading over there.

Alex hummed as he walked down to the aisle with the stuff, entering it. “Ah yes, my favorite aisle- Ice cream~” He said, chuckling softly as he rubbed his hands together for a moment.

Nick giggled quietly, glancing around. “So you know what kind of ice cream Karl likes?”

“He’s a basic b----, vanilla’s his favorite~” Alex said, jokingly name-calling his friend. “He likes other stuff too, like Rocky Road or Moose Tracks or like, Birthday Cake flavor- Honestly, it’s kinda mid, but y’know-“

“Mm, vanilla might be good for him to try and eat, anyways,” Nick said, searching the freezer shelves.

Alex nodded, opening another freezer door. “Might buy myself some ice cream~” He said, checking out the mini tubs of ice cream.
