“Yeah!” Chris said with a chuckle, leaning closer to Mason’s face with a dorky grin.

Mason chuckled, nuzzling his cheek against the side of Chris’s head. ‘Sure.’

Chris blushed a little and smiled, rubbing Mason’s arm. That- That’s new- Why do I feel so warm- The first bell rang for class and he reluctantly pulled his arm away, sighing. “Ugh, time for class, I guess,” he said, chuckling softly.

Mason blushed. ‘Dammit,’ he said, pulling away as well. ‘I’ll see you later, okay? I have maths.’

“Yeah, I’ll see you at lunch~” Chris said with a smile, patting Mason’s back. “Bye!” He said, turning and heading off. That- That was definitely not normal- I mean, we’re usually pretty touchy with each other in general, right? Why- Why did it feel different this time? Like, a good different??

Mason watched him leave. He sighed quietly and walked off in the opposite direction.

Nah, I’m- I’m probably just overthinking, Chris thought as he headed towards his first class, shaking his head.

At lunch, Mason sat at an empty table.’m -
Chris hummed as he walked into the cafeteria, searching for Mason. He soon found him and walked over, sitting down beside him. “Heyy~” He said with a smile, nudging his side with his elbow.

Mason looked over and smiled. ‘Hey,’ he said. ‘How was class?’

“Ugh, terrible,” Chris said with a dramatic sigh, leaning against Mason. “It was soooo boring-“

‘Dramatic much?’ Mason chuckled, taking a bite from his sandwich.

“What, it was boring~” Chris replied with a chuckle, nudging Mason’s side with his elbow.

‘Fair enough,’ Mason chuckled.
