“See? Hence my reasoning for why school sucks,” Chris said, chuckling softly.

Mason nodded, taking another bite out of his sandwich. ‘Fair.’

Chris watched him for a moment, humming softly. “Mm, now I’m getting hungry- I’m gonna get some food, be right back,” he said with a smile, patting his back for a moment before standing.

Mason chuckled. 'Okay. Go ahead.'

“Be right back~” Chris said with a smile, waving as he walked off.

Two guys walked over to Mason, sitting down on opposite side. “Look, the poor f--’s eating lunch on his own,” the blonde guy said with a fake sad face, patting Mason’s shoulder.

Mason frowned, moving his arm away from the blonde. 'Go away, Henry,' he said.

“Aww, is the poor guy upset he’s awone??” The other guy said, shaking Mason by the shoulders as Henry laughed.

'I'm not alone,' Mason said, pulling himself away from the other guy, who we'll call Atticus.

“What, you don’t want the company of a bunch of dudes? I thought you liked guys~” Henry said with a smirk, nudging Mason’s side. “It’s your dream come true, isn’t it~?” “Leave him alone,” Chris said, now standing behind the three boys.
